If he beat Campbell, like I'd expect him to, then that would be his best win. But Campbell hasn't held a title either.

Your tone is a little harsh considering the fact that both Charlo and Haney pushed for those fights and it was actually Canelo and Loma who didn't want no smoke.

Also remember that Loma and top rank actually stole the vacant title from Haney by going behind the scenes to bribe the wbc into having Loma as Campbell's opponent instead of Haney.

None of this is Haney's fault, top rank and Loma are now ducking him after conspiring to steal the title from him. Take note that the article implicitly mentions that Top Rank requested Loma be made Franchise Champion, no doubt in lieu of the fact that Haney has been demanding to get his shot as soon as possible.

Loma needs to fight Haney after Commey/Teo winner. Then he would have cleaned up the division as I don't think Mikey will be moving back down to 135. Top Rank protecting their asset comes as no surprise.

My preference is to see Loma unify all the belts and then fight Haney. So if Haney does get the win then at least all the belts are still in one place.

I just wish that they'd give up on ranking Mikey at 135. It's been over a year since his last fight and he doesn't have those belts now. Then at least Loma v Commey/Teo winner would be #1 v #2 so everything would be on the line.
