You have these P4P #1s prior - Roy Jones Jr, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquaio etc etc
They would get blasted for struggling to much lesser extents against frankly a lot higher quality operators than these Euro level/gatekeeper types.

I look at them and I'm thinking phenom, monster, genius these type of things I don't get that with a Lomachenko. He's all kinds of vulnerable. There isn't any invincibility factor. There is no real awe factor.

I just can't. My mind won't accept the best boxer on planet earth making Luke Campbell and Linares look elite.

Mayweather has struggled with lesser fighters.

I agree. I think he’s an exceptional fighter but he is clearly has vulnerabilities that you wouldn’t expect in a P4P number 1 fighter.

Are they supposed to be great fighters or something? I see nothing but a bunch of guys who have lost in extremely bad fashion everytime they have stepped up. All 12-13-14 times combined.

Like being brutally honest they ain't true world class fighters and that includes Linares who hasn't beaten anybody even B level in his entire paper title belt collecting career.

I agree. Linares is a big bum. Watching the Pedraza fight, I thought Pedraza was toying with Loma in spurts.

With Lopez and Haney, Loma has a chance. Davis would dominate and KO Loma to another dimension.

I second this. He struggled against bigger guys and showed courage and heart by taking on stronger opponents getting injured and coming from the injury. He struggled in a sense yet he dominated each fight.

Loma himself admitted that fighting in the current division is a challenge already because he can feel the size difference. I really see no argument to discredit his pro career so far

Lightweight is not Loma's weight class, he's just too small for 135.

He didn’t struggle with Campbell or Pedraza.

Linares was avoided but Garcia and universally recognized as a top 15 p4p fighter at the time they fought.

loma's simply not blessed with a good punching power like pac's that could enable him to go up higher weights more and fight bigger guys and still would respect his power...or a longer reach like floyd's so he could just box from outside and cruise to an easy win...no he couldn't do that...he has to fight at a closer range and take more risks.

without those attributes though it's his superior skills that make him a great fighter and p4p best.
