Dag goin in on the less educated.ward offered ggg a multi fight contract to fight the next year. he said he wasnt ready for ggg yet and needed more tune ups. this of course is nonsense because everyone knew ggg was waiting to fight cotto/caneo next and wold never tie himself up for a year for just ward. only ****** people can't see this. hi curt!
they rejected the offer so fast because it was laughable. why would you need more time than that to know it was not a legit offer? ward didnt want to fight that year. ok moving on. thats all it takes. what did you expect them to do when ward wasn't ready to fight? when ward was ready he should have sent ggg an offer to fight right then. not in a years time. publicity, propagada, whatever yo want to call it. it was a ****** offer. stop pretending that rejecting it in 30 minutes meant he was scared. he rejected it instantly because it was garbage. how long would it take you to reject a garbage offer?

I agree with this post except for the Ward and GGG talk. An offer was sent by Ward's team if I'm not mistaken and Loeffler even said as much, but it was at a time when GGG had a fight lined up as well as going into possibly fighting Canelo so they said it could possibly happen laterHow are any of those guys ducking him???? Has any of them been made a top dollar offer to fight Jermall. If not then none of them are ducking him, If you really want to fight somebody that is step one, You make them a good offer with a location and a dollar amount they will be paid. If you don't do that then you are not seriuos and nobody is ducking you. Calling guys out on camera is just useless talk. It's like when GGG supposedly ducked Ward but Ward just talked sh it and never offered GGG a dollar amount and a location. Media callout mean nothing. A serious money offer followed by a contract means something. Money talks and BS walks. I don't believe Jermall has made all of those boxers good money to fight him and they all said no except those average guys he ends up fighting. Dervy said he would be glad to fight Jermall and I think Dervy would beat him, Jacobs also said he would fight Jermall.Comment

Even though we disagree a lot I think you're a good dude man...and I just think you could find better uses for your time/posts than going back and forth about stuff like this 100 times with all different posters...what is the point...trust me i dont give THAT MUCH of a ****.....but why post at all man?? why do give such a **** to respond to me...its a boxing forum where we discuss the sport...so thats what im doing
how can someone talk venues and dollars for a fight when the other side is not interested at all? try to apply logic to that....ill listen....thanks
All I know about that situation is Ward/his team sent in an offer right after Lemieux was signed...and Cotto/Canelo winner was next for GGG...of course GGG was going to go that route...I never really have cared to look into all of the details of the contract since in my view, judging from when it was offered, and some of the known details (not immediate fight etc), I just think it was a way for Ward/his team to say they wanted the fight/get attention...GGG and Ward had had their 'beef' as well, so I think it was a way for Ward to say 'look GGG ducked me!!'.
From all the information that has come out between the two, I don't think either one really wanted that fight...at one time (earlier on) I think GGG would have taken the fight on roughly 50/50 terms...I don't think Ward was interested then...I think later on GGG would have wanted the fight more on his terms, and Ward similarly would have taken the fight more on his terms...if both guys would have wanted the fight on 50/50 terms at any point, it would have happened...it didn't.
Since you asked, I gave you the courtesy of a response here...but tbh I have heard basically every story from either side about the situation and I just don't really care man lol...my views on it are pretty set...if you want to respond that's fine...but yeah I don't really care to re-hash every little detail about the situation...we all have the same pool of information to go off of here, and I guess we just see this one differently.Comment

I admit that I probably end up injecting GGG into conversations on here out of nowhere too lol...so I can relate to that guy in a way...but yeah just reading that comment and others like it on here, I mean I just knew after a few lines that the Canelo exoneration and GGG bashing would begin.
Other than his extreme Canelo love and GGG hate I think he is usually a decent guy on here...but yeah that was a funny post
lol

so hogan goes life and death with a 154 bum and gets a title shot at 160 ??
imo niether munguia or hogan are worthy opponents for any 160 champion... charlo needs to put his hands on dervy or at least rematch korobov...Comment

After this Hogan fight I agree with you 100%. If not a unification fight then Derevychenko or Korobov rematch.Comment

yeah its pretty funny how a few months back when there was a rumor that GGG-Mungia was being discussed, these boards went CRAZY with posts about "GGG picking green cherries", "Mungia is garbage", etc etc, but yet somehow Hogan holding his own with the "green cherry" suddenly turns him into Godzilla.
and the only fight charlo should be going after right now is andrade......Comment
