No it's not fair. Beterbiev is too likely to beat Canelo. It's not the weight. Was Amir Khan fair? Were all those times his opponents weight drained while he rehydrated 20 to 25 lbs? Was that fair?
They sucked every $$$ out of Canelo because he is Mexican and has (he's losing them) Mex fans

Glad the article mentions Top Rank's option on Kovalev's contract. If Beterbiev fights and beats Canelo, that could get in the way of or delay a Canelo vs. Kovalev rematch and the resulting seven figure payment Arum would get. Better for Bob if Kovalev rematches Canelo immediately.

Not sure why it isnt fair, if Saul wins, he's a champion at Lt Heavy and therefore, should he stay at that weight class (which I doubt), SHOULD fight the other champs.

Wonder why Bob is slobbin on Saul? Maybe he is trying to befriend red and eventually get him to go to ESPN?

Yeah Jacobs and Golovkin were clearly the weakest of 160. And Lara and Trout were the weakest of 154.

Doubtful. More like a strong 5ft10 barefoot and 6ft tall in shoes.

Just stocky with a huge head and heavy bones.

Don't forget the 11 fight deal with DAZN he signed last year. He'll be obliged to honour that too so they can easily veto or approve (heck, even SELECT) opponents for him.
