I was cheering hard for Ruiz in the first fight because I wanted to see Joshua humbled. Now I hope to see the same for Ruiz. He's been nothing but obnoxious since he won.

Is anyone else switching who they're cheering for in the rematch?

No way Hearn would let Ruiz keep the title but may the better man win.

I "was cheering" for AJ in the first fight (even if I drew some attention over the Parker vs Ruiz fight)... But for me AJ is done already...

I say: may the best fighter on the night win. AJ has no reason not to be better than Ruiz in the rematch and he has to earn his stripes back. He's by far the better boxer and athlete.

He had it all but his naivete got the best of him. Everything was going fine and he let the scumbag Hearn push him into a pit. If you're unfit to fight, do what's best for you and what you're comfortable with. Promoters aren't out there getting punched in the face and money lost can always be made. As a boxer, it's normal to study your opponent. You know you have a guy with fast hands and slow feet and great chin infront of you but went in there trying to replicate what Wilder because Hearn said you have to do something better than a Wilder who fought a bum who blocks punches with his and win over Americans - despite being unfit. This is why I don't like Brits who always want to please yanks or act like yanks - why the fu.ck do you care about yanks? Just be yourself, man.

All he had to do in the first fight was go in there and fight like Callum Smith did before him. Callum got the first KD, didn't rush in and kept boxing. Even after the 2nd KD, he didn't rush in. He kept his composure. But AJ got a KD and decided to start throwing hooks with a hooker with short fast hands - something he has never done in his career, apart from the Dillian Whyte fight where he was taunting Dillian and got carried away.

Hearn set him up to fail. If he has realised that - he'll win convincingly by just being himself and fighting his fight. However, if he hasn't, then it's another L waiting for him. At least, he has the Fury fight for redemption and he should destroy the gypsy bum pretty easily. Trust a scumbag like Hearn at your own peril. The guy only cares about money and DAZN. He has stepped on you and use your name to get to where he needs to get to.

Hope he peppers Ruiz who has been nothing short of obnoxious.

I think he is given a pass because people want to see the chubby prick as an underdog.

How do you know what a snakey scumbag like Hearn wants? Have you ever seen a guy who talks like a parrot be straightforward in dealings?

If he doesn't want Ruiz to keep the belt, he wouldn't have pressured an unfit boxer to go into the ring and added extra pressure on him to do it quick, against that type of opponent. He wanted a showcase in America but decided to pick the worst style matchup for a guy who has always struggled with short guys. And he didn't just pick any short guy - he picked the one with very fast hands and great chin. Then went out there all over interviews talking about he has to outdo what Wilder did by getting him out of there quick, despite knowing his fighter was unfit. If he was fit - they wouldn't have employed Navy SEALs to help him deal with concussion and shock and psychologists the week leading up to the fight (when he has never had them in his camp since he started boxing).

We saw Hearn making all kinds of excuses for GGG after the Dervy fight, while claiming he was sick leading up to the fight when GGG didn't show any sign of it before and after the fight. However, a fighter, he's supposed to care about and the one that made him who looked out of it from the week leading up to the fight and even on fight night before the fight - he claimed there was nothing wrong with him.

              Hearn is a scumbag.

I don't think he's done - he's the best boxer in the HW division. He has everything he needs in his arsenal to destroy Ruiz. He's the better boxer by a mile and he's by far the best athlete in boxing.

He just needs to be himself and block scumbags like Hearn and the white noise. Go back to his natural weight of 240 or slightly below to stay nimble and for his gas tank. And box smartly with composure. If he can do what he did against Parker but time his uppercut and use it more. Then grab when he needs to - he should make Ruiz quit before the 10th rd, either by KO or by a nasty injury.

But if he goes in there trying to please people with Hearn the scumbag around - the it won't be pretty.

Going for Ruiz here love a underdog story especially if it can be done twice. Plus Ruiz has alaways stayed humble even after the W he just bought a lot of **** but who wouldn't with their new millions.
