oh please man, what do you expect him to start break dancing on the scales? i think your jumping to conclusions based on somthing your not really qualified to assess.

He'll knock Roy out.
Damn man thats ****ed up, i am actually thinking about ordering this card. it's only $25. I'm just hoping to see some of the old greatness that one was.

Qualified? Who needs to be qualified to judge that Roy looked better at one weigh-in as opposed to another? He doesn't look as good as he did for the 3rd Tarver fight, and that's plain as day unless he's hiding a mad 6 pac behind that scale.

We'll see tomorrow. It's not like I'm saying Roy will lose based off this weigh-in.

i just think there is no reason to be worried about this. when i said you weren't qualified, my point was that your not some doctor or trainer who is able to judge by his looks if we should be worried or not, especially if all you can see is one or two pics.

max, you're digging yourself a hole with the whole "need to be qualified to form your own opinion" thing...it is just their opinion...not everyone needs to be a doctor to assess that a man sneezing every 5 seconds is sick or has allergies...

anyway, I think mentally when fans know a fighter is on his last years and could possibly lose, they "LOOK" for what is wrong during weigh ins...really you cannot go by screenshots...these are SPLIT second moments in time...sometimes a fighter will make a face that bunches up his chin and makes him look overweight...or in the process of lifting his arms which distorts the skin of his body making him look drawn or overweight...sometimes it's the lighting that can make a fighter look more ripped than other lighting...sometimes a fighter you're used to seeing confident and flexing during screenshots of weigh ins like Jones look less impressive physically when they are NOT shown making serious faces and flexing confidently...

I am not saying anyone is wrong for making judgement...we all do...just hope that you don't actually let split second in time screenshots create the gauge of a fight...

I remember screenshots showed Mayweather looking just as big if not bigger than Castillo during the weigh in...the camera could have been closer? the lighting different? Mayweather was flexing and naturally is more ripped than Castillo...Castillo was not flexing...etc..but come fight time, Castillo obviously was the bigger man...

So take the weigh in screenshots for what they are...

yeah man i agree with you, and no i don't think you have to be "qualified" to point out anything, i was just trying point out the riduculousness of, as you put it, juding the outcome of a fight by a couple split second pics taken.
