As long as reporters and journalists continue to ask GGG about a third fight, of course he is going to state his opinion and desire for a trilogy. BUT, it also seems Canelo cant keep Golovkins name out of his mouth. I hope The kovalev fight falls through so Canelo will have to face a top fighter in the MW/SMW div. Of course being the cherry picker he is, he will fight the lamest opponent he can find.

Canelo still cashing the biggest checks in boxing. He already has BBB sides titles, 0, and legacy on his mantle.
50% of BBB sides money is in DAZN equity and should have had another L in his last fight.
        What Rivalry.

For once I agree; I relent. A rematch at this point would be pointless. Gennady is con****uously a shopworn, washed up fighter now who is clearly showing signs of aging and decline.

I think at this point, if the two were to ever meet inside of a ring again; Alvarez stops him. The fight I would like to see now is Canelo vs Derevyanchenko; Which should be a real barn burner.

Canelo should thank derevyanchenko...after that fight, people are less interested in a 3rd fight with canelo. He should also be kicking himself for avoiding it...if that were canelo in there, he most likely would have soundly defeated ggg in a career defining type performance.

which is why most of us had no interest with it to begin with....we all know the outcome...at this point beating golovkin wouldn't done much...golovkins fans would still cry about his age and how he landed jabs or something else.....that ship has sailed for canelo and he knows it

he already gave golovkin the kind of fight golovkin asked for specifically and golovkin couldn't do anything

                That's true. I'm guessing we won't see a 3rd fight.

He though he was going to expose a smaller fighter and it backfired twice, now canelo is making him look worse by moving up. Something GGG refused to do (but has agreed to move down) hurting his claim as an all time great.
WTF? Golovkin's a multi millionaire. To claim he's "...fighting for paydays", doesn't make a lot of sense, but I guess anything is possible. I think Golovkin's fighting because, like all champs, even at 37, he thinks he's still a top guy and wants to prove it.
Boxing's not a forgiving sport, so we'll see pretty quickly if it's true.

Canelo is a lil btch just like JMMarquez running off into the sunset with a win and dodging a trilogy to avoid a loss. Clenbuterol cocck suckers. Who gives a fk anyway he's about to get beat down coming up to light heavy.

                      2-0 to GGG then!

                      G. didn't deserve his last fight win but deserved both the Canelo contests.
