Comments Thread For: Canelo: Golovkin Will Keep Talking - But The Rivalry Has Ended!

Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is maintaining that his rivalry with Gennadiy Golovkin is fully done - after two close bouts at the middleweight limit. They fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in 2017, with Canelo winning a close twelve round majority decision in September 2018. Both fights took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He ain’t talking about you, he’s being asked questions about you. Same reason you are giving this quote..perhaps the gripe here should be with the journalists?

By all accounts both bouts were close. Why not a third? Ali/Frazier, Ward/Gatti, Robinson/Lamotta and others. Why not Canelo?

Golovkin's knees must be getting sore from all the begging he's been doing. The cash cow has spoken, you're not getting the chance to leech off him anymore!

                Cause your scared

Canela is just afraid to get knocked out like pac did fighting marquez after their close and controversial fights. The same result will happen so he’s getting out while he can.

Leech? GGG getting extremely well paid by DAZN.

Canelo, on the other hand, beat GGG by a single point in 24 rounds, and that is with some very biased judging. If he considers he really won, it’s a shame.

And I give Canelo plenty of props for facing Kovalev. That being said, he has unsettled business with GGG.

I don’t blame you Canelo. You lost the first two fights and you don’t want anymore but you will change your mind as GGG is losing his step hahahaha
