Made a thread on here a while ago stating Joshua has a better resume than TYSON did before he lost to Douglas.

People on here trying to convince me a washed up retired Larry Holmes was better win than wlad

    Tyson fanboy’s are something else

If you give Lennox a credit for beating old Tyson, than you must also give Joshua and Tyson Fury a credit for beating old Klitschko, Holmes for beating old Ali and Mike Tyson for beating old Holmes.

Mike Tyson had a short career peak and was at his best when he was with Kevin Rooney, but in that short peak he was a beast.

Once he left Rooney, and started to be more around Don King and other scums, at that time he started to slip. As for the Buster Douglas fight, Tyson took him for granted, he was having sex with a lot of Japanese girls because they treated him like a god there. Obviously Douglas came in hungry for an upset although he lost his grandma some couple of weeks before.

You have to consider Mike was poor as a kid, abused and when he started to see all those money he started throwing ****** parties, womanizing, drugs etc.

Tyson between 1986 (aged 19) to 1989 (aged 23) he was one of the greatest IMO, now mind you, nowadays kids that are 19 are more like a "My little pony" figures then someone like Tyson.

Good fighters that Tyson won against, to name a few: Pinklon Thomas, Trevor Berbick, Jose Ribalta, James Smith, Tony Tucker, Larry Holmes, Spinks and Bruno. He wasted 3 years in prison and came back to win the WBC and WBA again.

As for Holyfield, he is the only person to win the Heavyweight World Champion 4 times, Muhammad Ali won it 3 times. So even that one only is ****** to call Holyfield overrated.

Holyfield's Heavyweight good wins: James Tillis, Pinklon Thomas, James Douglas, George Foreman, Bert Cooper, Larry Holmes, Rid**** Bowe, Ray Mercer, Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer and Hasim Rahman (aged 39).

Now from todays heavyweights bests: Fury had a good win against Wladimir only. Don't think the Tom Shorts and Lotto Wallin are good wins

Joshua had a good win against Wladimir as well.

Both of these are in the 30s including Wilder and still didn't do enough to be considered better then Tyson or Holyfield.

I see it more Lennox beating a passed his prime, on drugs, just fighting for the money Tyson, as Lennox is older then Tyson.

He isn't overated as nobody rates his resume that highly.
If Tyson is in top ten its because of other reasons. Like his physical abilities and punching power and speed and ferociousness. That's what people were scared of that they couldn't contain it.
Whenever you been in a car crash or been beaten up by thugs, the response was you look like you been 10 rounds with mike Tyson.

I'd put Tyson *just* about in the top 10, but it's debatable, and a lot of people say he doesn't belong in the top 10 at all. So I don't see how he's overrated?

I think Tyson deserves to p ten. There was a time when people thought he'd be greatest.
He didn't fulfil that but at least let him be to p ten type of thing

Tyson may not have the best resume but if you don't think 88 Tyson would give any heavy problems you've got to be kidding yourself. Tyson in his prime was one of the most skilled and fierce heavies ever, his reign was just short.

Lewis would have got flattened in my opinion v peek Tyson. Holyfeld just may have had Tyson number due to his dirty tactics and grit.

                      Berbick, Tucker, Thomas and Tubs

Had Mike NOT collect all them belts, it would have been an embarrassment.

I can't think of a single HW those fake champs would have beaten today. Even Haye would have swept up those belts.

Mike was one fortunate fu ck and that's why his reign didn't last. A person has to eventually wake up from a dream.
