We shall live we shall see. With the number of punches per round Kownacki throws everything is widely possible. And mind you, these are real meaty punches. I believe in him, but he must first be given a chance to fight someone really important. Can be Wilder, can be evewn this Usyk (whom I don't treat as very important in HW though).

A lot of disdain off this fight for Usyk. That is fine, it was a bland performance. But I still think a couple of training camps at HW will do Usyk well and he will elevate his game to the level of his opponent. I am not sure how he does, especially if he and his camp jump into a top fight next off that lackluster debut. But I do not buy that he can't compete with this crop of HW.

Everyone keeps pointing out he has no chance to be as great as Holyfield. Yep. I agree. But Wilder, Ruiz, Joshua and Fury are NOT Bowe, Lewis, or Tyson either, so Usyk does not have to be as great as Holyfield to have similar success. He just needs to be a great Usyk.
