You are missing the point, until Tyson mentioned it who else has. Of course when marketing a fight they will use every angle to sell the fight. My original question is which champion walked around calling themselves a lineal champion when you don't have a belt. I've never heard of any champion ssying I'm the lineal champion of the world only Fury has.

It's a title he bestowed on himself no one called him that until he did. If its a genuine title then name the lineal champion in other weight classes. Like I said PBC will quote that it's called marketing the fight at every angle. When Tyson decided to make a comeback he started calling himself the lineal champion that's how this all got started. There's no title really called the Lineal champion otherwise we would no who the other weight division lineal champions are. The only heavyweight world champions are Wilder and Ruiz the rest is just made up champions. So let me ask you this if Vitali Klitschko makes a comeback or Lenox Lewis do we have more than one lineal champion as they never lost their titles in the ring, this is all getting ****** now.
