People talk about them but they always choose the fringe LDBC channels. Anybody that watches this show and the 4 other main shows you'll understand they talk about all the fighters.

And people need to understand the LDBC is a reaction to the mainstream media not promoting black American fighters. So they decided to get together and form channels to push the narrative for our fighters. That's really what the LDBC is. A voice that wasn't out there previously

Im rarely very clear on how much they are making in the first place to comment on this. To hear onepunch talk about the job you just lose money all day til someone gets a call to get KTFO on some big card so maybe not. To read about Golden Boy only being in the black off of Canelo when they got one of the best rosters in the game its making me think maybe not. But then when I know these mfers been grindin this game for decades in many cases it gots me thinking there is surely ENOUGH money in the business for mfers to stay in the game so long.

So idk how much they make to suggest if its fair or not, but I dont like the level of power they have in the game today & I think that makes making the best fights a issue.

The majority of the money in boxing is siphoned off by people who don't deserve it while the people who do end up broke and struggling for money.

Someone has to do it. Someone has to play all the politics between networks, alphabets, fighters. I suspect that side of things is a bigger part of the job than straight promotion.

The ones we see are apparently the best at it.

Doesn't seem right but someone would take their place if they weren't any good.

I'll put it this way...I only hear people talk about boxing on here. In real life I heard 1(one) dude talk about Golovkin vs Canelo 2 and 1(one) dude talk about Kovalev vs Ward 1. My old boss asked me about Lomachenko because his doctor was Ukrainian. So 3 times in about 5 years that I've heard regular people mention boxing.

And no, I didn't hear anyone talk about Mayweather vs McGregor in real life because most people knew the deal.
              Nobody cares about this stuff.

                  In America? HELL NO!

They have Network Deals so they feel like they don't have to get out and promote because they will make their money from the Network Deals. ESPN don't promote boxing like they do with UFC so it has been ZERO Promo for this fight. As a boxing fan it is very frustration to see a sport I love constantly treated as a Step Child. FOX at least goes all out for boxing and promote it heavy during other more popular sporting events like NFL Football and MLB Baseball Playoffs, while ESPN really doesn't seem to care much about it

Honestly, guys on youtube Promote fighters more than ESPN does

I was thinking along those lines. Once Top Rank got a long term ESPN deal they no longer had incentive to get out there and promote.

                    And it's showing.

Tyson Fury is getting more attention from his WWE stint than from anything Top Rank has done since signing him.

It's going that route fast. This is why DAZN was created Once showtime dies out it will all be dazn.
