So rid**** Bowe never ducked Lewis, Hatton never ducked Witter? Khan never ducked Brook? You defo sound like a casual and a Canelo fanboy.

If it was about money then why would Canelo fight Gomez, Smith or Fielding. None of those are big money fights, keep embarrassing yourself though...

This thread is inspired by Canelo's latest (& possibly 1st ever direct) comments publicly about Demetrius Andrade. I try to be as objective as possible. Andrade's last two performances were the most uneventful I've seen from him in recent years. He did outclass Sulecki in his last performance & made him look like he didn’t belong in the ring but it did become boring & repetitive at times.

But aside from #CaneloGGG2 what makes Canelo this super exciting fighter over Andrade? What were these exciting performances? Can anybody name them?

This dude is a great fighter but he makes it so hard to be a fan of his. To say Andrade isn't a challenge is incredulous. This dude reminds me of a spoiled brat, so privileged and he doesn't even know it. We seen the Trout, Floyd, Lara, & GGG fights. He pretends he hasn't received any favoritism & it's sickening. Seeing him say he beat GGG twice as if there was no controversy with a straight face, disgusts me.

I know it's a business but I just wanna see the best vs the best to see how great everyone is now & amongst history.

So this is the thread in a nutshell: At what point did it become acceptable anyway to use a fighter being "boring" as an excuse not to fight him if hes one of the best? 🤔

& what makes Canelo this super exciting fighter over Andrade? What were these exciting performances? Can anybody name them?
When did it become acceptable for boring fighters like Andrade to not fight legit competition? He can fight 10 other names not named canelo or ggg.

You can’t say Canelo has not tried that route before. He fought Lara on PPV and he stunk up the place. That was a pretty anticipated fight among hardcore boxing fans. I know I definitely did my part in promoting it to my friends and had a little party over it lol. Man Lara stunk up the place. I was telling everyone he’s good and he’s gonna win. He didn’t deserve the fight, the money, or the win. He can’t be on PPV anymore either.

So yeah, Canelo has a say on not wanting to fight a boring fighter. And come on, Canelo vs Kovalev at 175 isn’t a fight you should be downplaying. It’s a fun fight for boxing and Kovalev is ranked what, #2 at 175 by The Ring? I feel more comfortable to tell my friends about Canelo vs Kovalev than Canelo vs Andrade. Although I admit I do want to see Canelo vs Andrade and GGG III.

I think it's obvious Canelo is gonna fight whoever he wants to for the rest of his career.
GGG is 37 also so I doubt he's in any rush to fight Andrade either unless there's no other options.

Andrade claims they made an offer to Charlo for a fight and got turned down and we know about the BJS nonsense..

Safe to say, the guy won't be fighting anyone elite for a long time

Ask the largest cable boxing audience since 2006 that watched Canelo on HBO. Ask the 1.4 million people that bought a PPV just because he was on it. Ask the 600k people that figured out what a dazn is, downloaded it just to watch him when the platform is lucky to break 50k for any other fight.
Canelo signed a contract his Prize is already set he doesn’t need to rely on PPV #s

                  Try again

Dude , You want the company that will give him a 1/3 of a Billion to have a heart to heart give him a hug and see if he’s willing to fight Golovkin and give the company their biggest fight and the best chance for them to be successful. You don’t think it was discussed beforehand about possible Opponets and it’s a surprise and a trick that Golovkin got brought on

I doubt before he signed he said he wouldn’t fight Golovkin again because he doesn’t like him

No fans, no promoters wanted him and no mgr could stick with him.

Like Androgynous and Deyonce, he made peanuts to the dollars of what the stars made.
