I suppose when it became about PPV. Fans look for **** for their buck.

Canelo v Kovalev or Canelo v Andrade.

No contest in terms of which is likely to make fans part with their cash.

Nobody on Dazn fights on ppv. Aside from the fact that Kovalev ain't no major draw, what's the excuse on why Canelo can fight Fielding & not Andrade?

I will say I don't like Andrade's assertion that Canelo ducked him to go up to 175 and face Kovalev...it kind of makes me view some of the things Andrade says/has said with a grain of salt tbh.

To your questions - Canelo (in part due to good matchmaking) probably has more KOs than Andrade...that is generally what we consider excitement...but if DAZN approves Andrade as a matchup for Nelo, and if he gets paid about the same to face him vs anyone else, then yeah Andrade-Canelo should happen for sure and should be an upcoming fight for Canelo....if Nelo sticks with the boring excuse at that point, he will look bad imo.

Andrade has been in 2 different divisions with Canelo, & they both were #1 contender's for each other's WBO belt when both of them were champion at 154 BUT have never fought. He also possesses a style Canelo arguably has never beat. Everyone knows why Canelo is fighting Kovalev. I have never seen any version of Canelo that I thought was a better fighter than prime Floyd. & Canelo didn't beat Floyd, so just because he's going up to fight Kov means nothing because it's not like he's cleaned out 160 &/or proved he was head & shoulders better than the competition there.

Canelo's reputation as some out of this world exciting fighter is smoke/mirrors just like his W/L record.

I used to like Canelo before he became such an arrogant liar and refused to give GGG a rematch after taking GGG's title in a razor thin split home town decision. Canelo is a damn good fighter and I love watching him fight. Canelo lied when he said he wanted to unify 160 because that would have meant fighting Andrade and here he is saying he will not fight Andrade so clearly he never intended to fight Andrade. He lied again when he told GGG to get a belt to earn a fight with him. GGG has the belt he told him to get and he made it clearer than ever that he will never fight GGG. Canelo speaks the truth about two things. Andrade is boring and Andrade never beat a good dangerous middleweight even though he is the WBO champion. The WBO often has the weakest champions and the weakest contenders. Andrade got the title by beating some African nobody ever hears of who was ranked about 28th by boxrec. He has not defended his title against anybody that good and his next opponent is not very good. While Andrade is waiting for that big GGG or Canelo payday he should fight a really good dangerous middleweight and prove himself. If Andrade beats Jacobs or Jermall or Dervy then he has beaten a good dangerous middleweight. He has never done that in my opinion.

What makes Andrade boring & Canelo not? Never hear about this label being placed on Canelo yet nobody can tell me what are his exciting performances?

Andrade is 31 now and doesnt have a single good win. Maybe he should do something to make fans demand Canelo fight him, because Canelo is fighting better guys that him right now.

Canelo is #1. Andrade is top ten. In my eyes GGG is still the #1 challenger. Danny is #2 til he moves to 168 officially. Derevyanchenko is like the #3 challenger. And then we got guys like Mell, BJS & Andrade who all are respectable enough & top ten, but til they do bigger sh^t they are waiting for Canelo to call them on late notice or for a keep busy fight not calling their shot for the #1 spot. Thats just how it is at this level. If you arent doing something that"ll make our fight bigger then you are gonna wait in line.

He gave up his date in Sept and used all his leverage so he wouldnt have to fight Golovkin essentially spitting in the face of the company that gave him a 1/3 of a billion and basically saying he couldn’t give a f.uck about their success because that’s the biggest fight the platform could offer

And let’s face it never had any intentions of fighting Andrade in Sept which would have been for all the Straps

Instead hes been chasing Kov since July even though he had a fight lined up hoping Kov would cancel the Yarde fight so he could keep his Sept Date & somewhat negotiated with Devre as a backup probably just in case Kov lost and got all Pi.ssy when they stripped him

The Truth is the Kov fight isn’t bigger then then the Golovkin fight and it means less then the Andrade fight but people think Canelo should get praised for fighting Kov , Which is smoke & mirrors as far as the challenge it represents and historical meaning of it if he wins

Agree with everything you wrote , But I will disagree about Canelos Entertainment Value

I’m the farthest thing from a Canelo fan but he throws combos and Hard shots and Routinely can get his Opponet out of there and he’s Capable of getting Highlight Reel KOs ( But most of that Is because he’s also able to fight guys when their at their weakest and he has all the advantages)
His style attracts Casuals who
Mainly emwant to see someone KOd or get beat up

Andrade isn’t boring but also doesn’t press the action if the KO comes it comes but he has no problem going 12 winning a wide decision either. The boring just a excuse though , The same way Lara was a runner , Canelo fans will parrot it like they do and use it as a excuse why he should fight the best in his division

The thing is For guys who are elite skilled but aren’t known like Andrade whos probably the most avoided in the sport right now and Gennady who was swerved by every Notable MW for years it’s almost impossible to build a respectable resume because their easy avoid by high profile fighters and their teams , especially if you’re like both of those guys who initially were with 2nd tier promoters who didn’t have the leverage to attract Notable names to fight them. You almost stand no chance of a high profile fighter picking you just for the f.uck Of it because they want to actually fight the best

Only way Andrade gets a break and finally gets the big fights is just keep on fighting and winning hoping a Big Name will pick him in a couple years thinking he’s past prime and will be a nice scalp on the resume , If he can get in a WBSS type tournament and win it , goes on a No hoper Tour with the intent to savagely beat the f.uck Out them every time out and build up a fan base by giving them Highlight Reel KOs each and every time out , have Hearn overpay guys in or associated with his stable to fight Andrade (BJS, Smith Bros, Golovkin , Bivol or sacrifice Kell again )
