Probably true. If it's his first time, he gets a fine.

It may depend on how over-crowded the jails are where he is, and if some prosecutor wants to make a name for himself by insisting a celebrity do time and be made "an example."

It doesn't seem likely to go after someone who already did a lot of damage to himself and paid the price in pain.

I agree that if you are caught drunk driving jail time should be mandatory, but there are no laws for it. And no one was harmed but himself.

Imo more like 'reckless drunk driving' should get some jail time...but to be fair it is probably hard to distinguish between what is reckless and what isn't at the end of the day.

Glad he will apparently be OK...I like Spence (not saying I am his number 1 biggest fan, but I have always liked him since I saw him at the Olympics in 2012) but I think part of me is just pissed at him for doing something so dumb like this, when he is on top right now, and had so much to lose.

So yeah glad he is OK, and I hope in some way he gets a wake up call.

I was still ****ing up at 30.

I didn't settle down until my 1st son was born. It took seeing and caring for that little guy to make me see life wasn't about me.

Hopefully Spence comes out this with with a different view on life.
