I got to agree with you. I like Floyd but for what he does in the ring. All of these antics outside I find mildly entertaining for a short period of time but it has gotten old. Maybe Margarito isn't the second coming of Sugar Ray Leonard but he is a capable fighter. Sure he hasn't beaten Zab Judah but I wouldn't be very impressed if he did. Frankly I agree with what was posted earlier if Baldomir can shake him up with his punches, just imagine what happens when Margarito hits him. I have no problem with Floyd taking a Baldomir fight next as to become the recognized champion but if in his next fight he doesn't fight Margarito, Shane, or DLH then I will think he is ducking Margarito. As a fan you can want your fighters to win, you can defend your fighters, but stay in the realm of reality.

yeah Baldomier did stun Zab, but do u think that same Zab would come to fight Margorito. The fact of the matter is, Baldomier was overlooked. I think a focused Zab wouldnt allow a Baldomier to touch him, kind of like the 1st 6 rounds was. Baldomier also throw straigher punches and has better timing to Margorito in my opinion. Margo is just a 1 dimemsional fighter, come forward and swing. I dont think that can work against a superior boxer.

Hey if they want to believe that Floyd has a better resume... that is their OPINION. The fact is that right now it is not a comparison. Shane and Oscar have accomplished a lot more than Floyd. Shane has beaten DLH (twice), Vargas (twice), and fought tough competition that nobody else wanted to fight like Forrest and Winky. DLH beat Genaro Hernandez while still in his prime, Julio Cesar Chavez, Ike Quartey, and Vargas fought an undefeated Trinidad at their prime weights (and won imo) and fought Hopkins at MW. Floyd has some nice wins but none that are "all-time" greats except maybe Chico... I will give him credit if he beats DLH and Mosley but I will think of it like I think of DLH's win over Julio Cesar Chavez... more of a right of passage than a great win. Floyd certainly could end up with a better career than them but it is on him to make the right fights.

It can if that superior boxer is Zab Judah. He can lose focus for one second and be KO'd like he did against Koz. Yes Koz is completely different than Margarito but they both can punch and Zab will never maintain focus for 12 rounds. Against Mayweather which was his redemption chance he couldn't even stay focused past the 4th round.

yeah thats true, he is mental fool, but his skills and talent carry him a lot. I think he could pull it off, but I wouldnt bet on it though.

El and Charlie lets stop all the bickering. El, Charlie and I used to have our disagreements but I just realized that Charlie has an abraisive sense of humor, and its nothing personal. Charlie definitely knows about boxing he just has strong opinions and isn't afraid to express them.
