By now I thought he would be fighting someone with a pulse. All these guys on his list are very weak.

Usyk has 2-3 years left in his prime. He will definitely fight the top HWs next year. Joshua/Ruiz winner has to fight Usyk next and if Usyk wins he will unify against the Wilder/Fury winner by late 2020. If all goes well for him and he becomes Undisputed World HW Champ then he retires in 12-14 months from boxing. Because Usyk said if he becomes Undisputed World HW Champ then he retires from boxing . He could have only 3 more fights left.....

I like his chances. I admit I am biased. I was on the Usyk bandwagon long before the super series elevated him. The man is so smooth in the ring. I think he will have trouble KO-ing anyone in the HW division, but I think his power will translate well and he can hurt anyone in the division once he has had a couple of training camps to put on mass correctly. The two unknowns that will dictate his HW run:

-Can he dominate the ring presence at HW like he did at CW when he is in with massive, 230+ fighters?

-How well can he take the bombs from the powerhouses at the top division?

Usyk will not end his career undefeated for sure. But if he answers the questions well, he can win belts and beat anyone in the division. If he fights 8 to 12 times at HW and gets a 6-2 or a 9-3 type record and a belt, the man is a lock for the Hall of Fame. If he betters that type of record and conquers most of the current top dawgs, he is making a case for top 50 in the past 50 years.
