No offence mate - and same to any one else with similar remarks - but this talk reminds me of my gamer past when I was 12-15 yrs old. There were endless debates about which console developer was the best out of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Everyone had their own horse in the race and became mortally offended should anyone disparage the company that developed the console of their choice; serious cognitive dissonance before we knew what it was.

If I was still playing games now it’d just be about who had the best gaming product for me. No allegiances to corporations who actually care little about the consumer which leads me nicely to this point: Who gives a flying F which promotional company is doing what? Let’s just see the best products and in this case that’s the best possible fights.

Didn’t read the article, but Eddie’s toupee annoys the hell out of me.

        That is all.

Good interview. I think Hearn showed some honesty and humility in it, regardless of the motivation in showing it. The DAZN model is different in that you have one platform and two different promoters (Hearn and Holden Boy) sharing it. Arum and Top Rank are one to one with ESPN and PBC Is one "promoter"/advisor with multiple platforms FS1, Showtime, Fox.

All three options have had some real good cards and some stinkers, I look forward to more boxing being available for me to access and watch regardless of platform and promoter.

            Dem nutz

Its failing miserably in America..in the boxing capital of the world
I finally met a person with DAZN

            They had to restructure
The fee amounts because they were sinking fast..in addition
They had to sell off inventory to survive

If hbo was still alive, Dazn would be a distant memory..

Hearn is a knuckle head where Mr Skipper had to shove this dunce out of the way..to sign Canelo and GGG..

WILDER hates Eddie so much he said naw I'm good, as did Fury

Poor Dazn even reverted to showing commercials...to make ends meet..

I predict a 3rd tier for super fights at a higher price...so get ready suckers

It wierd there is no DAZN in Hearns home country dahhhh

            Chad in Vegas

              Up

They signed the 3 What was thought of as the 3 most marketable names in the sport , yet only 1 of them seems to move the needle and have people buying subscriptions

Hearns contributions has been nothing short of failure of the 5 fights I listed he’s respond for only 1 of them , Only Notable US names he could sign were fighters with no fans and has them fighting Opponets no one gives a f.uck about , his cards have been overall sh.it

If anything he’s hurt DAZn more then he’s helped them , his arrogance thinking he could come in throw a bunch of $ at figuters and they’d grovel just sign with him kiss his ring backfired and when it did basically resorted to mocking them insinuating that they’re just of dumb black nigs , A Person with a better Roster or Better Connections it in the US Marketplace or wasn’t a Rival Promoter would have probably been able to sign better fighters or at least make better fights

The fact he was originally supposed to be the Grand Czar Of the Platform and has resorted to promoting A Gimmick fight between 2 YouTubers that will be far and away his most successful event on the Platform should tell you everything you need to know about the job he is doing
you summed it up better than i did. dazn had a decent year, they are ending well. eddie hearn has had a terrible year. two different things but the platform has been successful in spite of him.

I dig Eddie overall & liked what he did in the UK, but hes not doing well in the US & idk that he looks like he can do well anytime soon. DAZN would be better rep'd in the US by Golden Boy. And GBP with a few more bucks likely makes better fights & signs more boxers who can make a mark.

Not really, and this won't either. Take this fight for what it is. They will be bringing in a lot of attention and it will do good numbers.

For one particular night there will be a lot of eyeballs on that boxing card. Hopefully it does help someone like Haney raise his profile.
Haney is looking like he could be a very special fighter within a year or 2, he's one that definitely deserves a bit of high profile exposure.

And then there's his stable of US prospects. Otha Jones, Nikita Ababiy, Raymond Ford, and Anthony Sims Jr.

Pretty incredible for a 'lacklustre' American stable.
Devin Haney is the only name there that is worth a damn. He signed to DAZN for a shot at the vacant WBC and Hearn got outmaneuvered by Arum. Again.
