Brute force? Seems like every pressure fighter is accused of only using brute force to win fights. He barely got outta first gear with Dirrell bc he couldn't do anything to keep him off & it wore him down so why change it up? Better watch those Porky & Gavril fights. That boy can box & counterpunch beautifully when he is forced to. Smith is a really good boxer, but is very textbook & has also gotten by on the fact that he looks like a CW in there against lesser competition(aside from a shopworn Groves). Ain't nobody ducking anybody here like most of these fanboys wanna make themselves believe. Both guys are handling their business on their respective sides before they are free to cross paths. Looking forward to this in the near future.

I reckon if they fought soon Smith would win due to his greater experience, but he'd have to work hard for it. They could easily split a few victories over multiple divisions though, and Benavidez could probably improve more than Smith could.Comment
