It's just what imagined. The man is a career criminal with several felony convictions.

Some has said that Clarissa could be sued over this fiasco. Personally, I don't agree with them but at the same time I can see their argument.

It's like the one bite rule. If your dog has bitten before and has a proclivity or tendency to bite again then that dog owner is liable for that dog bite.

In this case, while Shields was not directly complicit with this crime. However at the same time, she is responsible for the company she keeps.

While, she did not incite to riot but yet she did know that some of her family members were loose cannons and threats to public safety and prone to violence; So she should have kept them away from the weigh in.

However, unless they can prove that her brother was directly employed by her then she is not liable for his actions because it was a public event. She could have asked them to stay away but she couldn't make them stay away.

That's why I said that the state of Michigan is liable for this incident for it's inadequate and lack of security.

I can't even begin to comprehend how much of a lowlife one has to be to sucker punch an old man

Sucker punch was originally intended in a dispute where one doesn’t assume physical altercation in return.

A back head punch isn’t a sucker punch because the old man wasn’t being “fooled” suckered to begin with.

This is just plain aggravated assault with the offender obviously knowing the guy is old.

Stop with the “sucker punching.” It sugar coats the scene of the crime.

Yeah its pathetic, thoughts go out to Bashir and his family.

How cowardly to sucker punch an old man from behind.

Everyone saying Clarissa should be punished for her brothers actions are ******ed. Do you guys also think Simone Biles & Woody Harrleson should be locked up because their family members murdered someone?

You realize that they’re 2 separate individuals, Responsible for their own actions

Like now all of a sudden people want to implement a North Korea 3 Generations Of Punishment and punish Clarissa for something her Brother did. Like how f.ucking ******.ed can you be
                    This^^^^^^^^^^^

Not a fan of Shields at all but blaming her for the actions of another is re-tarded. Unless you can prove she sent him to attack a 71 year old man, then blaming her is dumb. Hold her brother accountable

I wish Ali Bashir a safe recovery. The assaulter deserves his day in court and if found guilty should get the maximum sentence to law allows.
