SCORECARD: After replaying GGG-SD, I have it 7-5 GGG. Not as close as first thought.

    Golovkin does tend to block quite a few shots that a lot of people think land when the fight is live. Even when I was watching, it looked like Derev was hitting gloves or elbows quite a bit. And as others have pointed out since rewatching it, that that was the case with a lot of those shots. His activity was incredible though.

        Just as I said over in my scorecard thread. Sergiy did a fantastic job at being aggressive, but the vast majority of the second half of the fight, it was ineffective.

          That is actually SD's regular operations.

          He has more power and less activity in the early rounds... then he does take it up a notch in activity, but his power goes down.

          SD wins through activity... not accuracy or power.
