Which boxer deserves less hate then he actually gets?

I have yet to hear of a boxer who is loved by everyone. Seems like every fighter has a thick share of haters no matter the achievements.

In your opinion, which boxer gets a lot of undeserved hate and why?

edit: a lot of people are getting worked up about using the word hate, so read hate = poorly backed criticism

Canelo. He could of fought much easier opposition if he had no personal ambition to create a good resume. Lara by public demand. GGG due to public demand. He could of done like wilder/AJ and let that one no materialize until GGG got beat. Now kovalev everybody saying is an easy fight lol when kovalev is coming off the back of two stoppage wins over young contenders genuine light heavies. Canelo was 154 not so long ago now we're saying canelo vs kovalev is a joke fight at 175 no clauses. It just shows to me that the fans will complain no matter what. If we had a behemoth card with unifications in every weight division the fans would still find something to complain about. And I think boxers realise this, the ones who dgaf about conning them like Kevin Johnson who used to talk a huge game then go in just to survive. Or people like Andre ward who was a great boxer yet got hate and criticism for being boring etc but he stuck to his style. People like mayweather, some boxers just think **** the fans and don't let the fickle hype that the fans push onto them dictate their careers. And they deserve respect for that it's their health on the line and you have whiney *****es in this forum up in arms over certain fights. They want everyone in life and death scenarios each fight with short careers for their bloodthirsty entertainment.

Yes and this , they're very few easy fights for the world level guys. Like Callum Smith for example criticized for fighting Ryder who is coming off of 3 good stoppage wins at smw and is a decent kid. Yeah it's not what we wanted but callum could still go to sleep lose his health and lose everyrhing hes fought for in this one night. They're all over critiqued and we should try not to be so harsh. I think that's the bottom line no ifs or buts.

He vacated the belt twice to not fight and failed a drug test tbf

Thing about Canelo is he has been doing a Pacquiao trying to pick up easiest paper belt he can like Rocky Fielding for example or putting on weight stipulations

I agree with you on the second part that some boxers' style just doesn't click with the public and they get heavily criticized for being boring.

Not so much on the first part. Yes, Canelo could have fought easier opponents but stating that those fights were public demand is overreacting. He had to fight the best to prove he was the best. Public has nothing to do with this.

GGG. Warrior. KO artist. Great guy. Not a diva. Very respectful. Happy dude. He always puts the fans first and loves the people.

... this is nonsense: no boxer deserves "hate"... they all fight in order to entertain us... we may like some or dislike some... but none deserves "hate"...
