Now kovalev everybody saying is an easy fight lol when kovalev is coming off the back of two stoppage wins over young contenders genuine light heavies. Canelo was 154 not so long ago now we're saying canelo vs kovalev is a joke fight at 175 no clauses. It just shows to me that the fans will complain no matter what. If we had a behemoth card with unifications in every weight division the fans would still find something to complain about. And I think boxers realise this, the ones who dgaf about conning them like Kevin Johnson who used to talk a huge game then go in just to survive. Or people like Andre ward who was a great boxer yet got hate and criticism for being boring etc but he stuck to his style. People like mayweather, some boxers just think **** the fans and don't let the fickle hype that the fans push onto them dictate their careers. And they deserve respect for that it's their health on the line and you have whiney *****es in this forum up in arms over certain fights. They want everyone in life and death scenarios each fight with short careers for their bloodthirsty entertainment.

they're picking kovalev at the right time, but these clowns saying "stop ducking jrock n da charlos to fight sergey kovalev should be taken back to preschool.

it can be both. goldenboy matchmakers know more than we do. they have been in this game for uears and eyars. they know boxing and they have connections. people know kovalev is a drinker, that he's had personal problems, and also they can look at his performances in the ring and know he is all done as an elite. canelo can come in and take the belt, make no mistake.

well, you know what I mean. It's not the dictionary meaning of the word but rather what we put in it here in this forum.

I like the match-up. Pretty short break for Kova but whatever, I'll take it. He knows it's a payday chance of a lifetime for him so he is willing to put everything on the line. Should be a good fight

i'm with you. the pieces are in place. kovalev is on the slide, canelo is at the height of his powers. it's a good matchup on paper, it really is. we will see if canelo is that good, because kovalev is a LHW with dynamite in his gloves.

Although his motives are questionable (he clearly doesn’t want to chance a 3rd with GGG) the Kovalev fight offers at least some redemption from the Fielding fiasco.

It's definitely miles above the Fielding fight but not sure it redeems it at all. I'm pretty pumped for their clash with Kova though - really hoping Sergey brings his A game

99% of "fans" couldnt pick Poo Poo or Mall out of a lineup.

YOU might want to see those fights, because deep down you hope a light skinned euro might get whupped by one of those 2, but lets not act like there is some big demand for Andrade or Charlo. Neither guy could draw ants to a picnic.

And im fine with either fight getting made, I just dont think there is much demand.
