Yea he was eating wayyy too many shots, His Jab was not being thrown at all in some rounds. That jab/straight is what keeps fighters honest. He has become a headhunter now.

I'm a GGG fan but unless he really was sick (announce team kept alluding to it) he's best days are past now.

Yeah ok.... and Sanchez wanted GGG to go to the body in the first canelo fight. Then promised GGG would go to the body in the rematch not only did GGG not do it he kept backing up when Sanchez told him stop doing that.

Banks and Sanchez can't change this man. Doesnt matter what they want GGG simply can't execute their plans. How long until GGG fires and blames Banks like he did Sanchez?

I love GGG, but he never should have let Sanchez go. Now Bank is gonna change him at 37? Get real...

And also... once you're ****** rich, you kind of feel less like getting hit in the face (Although.. you wouldn't think so .. from the way GGG was taking them).

GGG was always a very physical fighter, but at the top level, it takes more out of you.

          smart post

G should have paid Abel what he was worth... Banks will not make much difference at this point

but it is good to see them moving away from that mexican style thing

Banks never impressed me as a trainer or as a fighter.

And GGG is old. Too old to change.

Bring on the rematch for proof.

I'm a GGG fan and I thought he lost. GGG took a brutal beating and looked extremely uncomfortable in the corner in between rounds. Why should GGG go back to Abel when it's clear that he didn't learn much defense when they were together? It appears GGG is the old dog that can't be taught new tricks and that he should consider retiring after last night. I don't' want to see Canelo knock him out after delaying the initial fight a year or two by vacating the title and then delaying the rematch because of PEDs. GGG will lose by brutal stoppage if the third fight happens. I'm hoping karma intervenes and Canelo is served a dose of his own medicine and reminds us all why weight classes exist.

He also needs to be more active with his jab. He made that fight a lot harder than it needed to be by not working behind his jab...it was really noticeable.

This guy would make GGG. like a Broner. Better retire after defeating Callum Smith

GGG needs to work on head movement and bending at the waist. He is an inside a power puncher and needs to set up huge counters after slipping and making opponents miss. He is older and can’t plow through opponents the way he use to. He has also abandoned his body work. He seldom throughs his big left hooks to the body and focuses too much upstairs. The old GGG style is his best style. If only his team would work on his head movement....

You can't have the best defense if you are mixing it up.

It's much too late to bring up strategies with someone like GGG.

After 25+ fights, a guy is who he is, stylistically (FOR THE MOST PART).
