If I drive a Porsche, I am most sure that I am not going to really look at the gas expense.

I think Golovkin needs to go forward and shoot, not try to be a defensive guy. He has the chin, he has power, so go for it.

Both appeared overly bulked for whatever reason under banks

GGG reminds me of Oscar De La Hoys his last few fight. Can still jab but the footwork is not there and can’t pull the trigger anymore.
He’s lucky Chenko has never had much power with the shots he was taking.

Banks corner job and instructions last night was terrible. Anyways, GGG is 38 so Hes not going to suddenly learn more defense or increase his punch output no matter who his trainer is.

I watched the fight live I’ll have to watch it on TV later to get a different perspective but a lot of the shots SD threw didn’t seem all that effective. There were some that definitely were not to discredit him but a lot of the ones GGG landed was like whoa. But it seems as though he’s not able to pull the trigger like he used to. I obviously wasn’t able to hear what the cornermen said between rounds but noticed that they didn’t take GGGs mouthpiece out between rounds. That **** drives me crazy. Why would his trainer a former fighter not take it out so he could breathe that much better it’s all about recovery between rounds. GGG should’ve went with Robert Garcia.

He needs to just fight gate keepers at this point.

Basically what banks is saying is at this point in gggs career, he is uncoachable. Both he and Sanchez want ggg to fight a certain way and he won’t. He reverts back to his block punches with his face defense

Golovkin fired the last trainer that criticised him . . . .

What about maybe the guy got old overnight
Ffs the guy is 37 years old with a lot of boxing in his life
It does actually happen to become a dinosaur
And there’s no way in hell that anyone will change his style at this moment in his career
