So we are to believe Canelo beat GGG just because a couple of paid off judges says so? Nah...we know what we saw and it wasnt Canelo beating GGG, it was quite the opposite.Comment

Dumbella is a horrible promoter. instead of sayg his fighter was rob and a rematch shld happen he starts wt like 45 min of praising triple gift abt how great he is then at the end he says derev won. ha!!! wtf. i was like are u upset at all or just in love wt triple gift. what a sucky promoter. only positive is that his canelo plan backfired now derev gonna b sent to siberia. lolComment

if you negotiate with Canelo, you expect to earn more money than you would fighting ggg. That's like saying wilder ducked Joshua by fighting fury for less money than what he was offered to face Joshua. At that point, the Joshua fight was worth more money so you'd expect to make more fighting him than the guy that is less popular and has no belts. Does that not make sense? He wanted more money than what golden boy was offering and golden boy f'd up by not taking the proper steps to make sure Canelo didn't get stripped. I know you're tired of hearing how Canelo ducks everyone so this was your opportunity to jump and say, look, someone ducked canelo. But that's not what happened.****! You said it man! So if beating Canelo does more for a fighter's career then why the fucc would Sergey turn down Canelo to fight Triple g for the same amount of money???? ?
Think about it!
And it was already in writing according to Golden Boy promotions and the IBF.
The matchmaker for Golden Boy promotions Robert Diaz signed a contract that if Canelo didn't come to terms with Sergey by a certain deadline then he would get stripped of the belt.
Now you don't think DiBella knew about the agreement??? You don't think he told Sergey about the agreement Robert Diaz signed with the IBF???
I know your a Canelo hater but don't be dumb man.

Yes i understand that Canelo is a superstar and he's worth more money than triple g and somehow motherfuccers think their entitled to Canelo's money and they all wanna get retirement money when they fight Canelo...if you negotiate with Canelo, you expect to earn more money than you would fighting ggg. Al Haymon has his whole stable thinking they're worth more money than they're actually worth....
Just cause Al Haymon loves to overpay his fighters doesn't mean other promoters have to do the same...
If a fighter really has that much confidence in himself then sometimes it's worth it to take the short money in order to get paid in the long run....
Andy Ruiz did it and now look at him??
He's about to get paid big time cause he didn't let a few hundred thousand dollars get in the way of his goals..... Why??
Cause he actually had confidence in himself that he could beat AJ and that's exactly what he did so now he about to get paid!
I guess Sergey didn't have that much confidence in himself,.....Comment

Well that can be perceived as being a ****** business man if you don't take the bigger opportunity the way ruiz did, not necessarily a duck though.Yes i understand that Canelo is a superstar and he's worth more money than triple g and somehow motherfuccers think their entitled to Canelo's money and they all wanna get retirement money when they fight Canelo...

If you're looking to do what's best for your career then you pick Canelo over ggg. More exposure, he's lineal, and if you beat him your career skyrockets. That's the fight they should've taken. They overplayed their hand by trying to get more money and it didn't work out. As far as danger involved in facing either, I don't think they looked at Canelo and assumed he'd be too difficult to beat so they went with ggg. Things worked out as they did bevause they tried to squeeze more money out of a Canelo fight. While ggg is older and slowing down, Sergey could've had a shot vs Canelo. He's a busy fighter who'd force canelo to fight fast which is something he hates to do. And it's not like Canelo is knocking people out at mw.Comment
