Canelo no longer needs GGG his money is guaranteed so there’s no incentive for him. He fought him twice and a third fight won’t change much as everyone will just say GGG is old even if he KO’s him.
We learned this week that a large portion of GGG’s money is tied in DAZN equity. DAZN didn’t write a $100 million dollar check to him.

Canelo jumping at this fight now because of how bad ggg looked yesterday, after he was so adamant that there wouldn't be a 3rd would be a complete opportunist move. That's exactly how Canelos career has been maneuvered since the Lara fight and it wouldn't shock me if he passed on all of the top prime talent out there, to now try and finally get his convincing win since it's very clear that ggg is done as a top 10 p4p player. Hopefully that's not what happens and guys like andrade get their shot instead of another opponent pushing 40.

Had Dev fought this way against DJ, he would have put him on the canvas. Like DJ, this was Devs biggest shot and he lost in the effort. Dev nor DJ will ever have a fight nor a fight intensity like this again. DJ was never the same after his fight (which showed in his Canelo fight) with GGG and Dev will be the same. Both tried the same tactic at GGG with flurries that most of the time were blocked, but looked flashy and competitive. The judges saw that in this fight.
I was less than impressed with GGG’s performance and conditioning than anything else. Honestly, Golovkin looked like a whole different boxer, and I’m not convinced this partnership with his new corner is working to his strengths. Foot work and balance looked sloppy, and the lack of throwing combinations was disappointing. Golovkin should get back to his balanced fundamental style of boxing, and quit head-hunting and waiting for the big shots that may or may not ever present themselves.
If a trilogy fight with Canelo happens, then so be it, but in the mean time, who will be the next fighter to climb in the ring with GGG? At least Andrade made a showing. Didnt see a whole host of other MW prospects tossing their hats in the ring either.

Totally agree. Canelo is not afraid of Golovkin. He won't fight him because he finds GGG to be a de****able character who always whines and complains and wants to make money of Canelo's name.

Canelo couldn't care less about Golovkin. Golovkin is damaged goods now. He will not bring in any additional subscribers to DAZN. More people are interested in Canelo fighting Andrade, Charlo and other top young fighters than in a 3rd fight with GGG.

Where is charlo? He has been awfully quiet in calling out the top guys. PBC has him tucked away safely on their network fighting tomato cans

GGG moved into the paid ranks much later than Clenelo therefore his record is different. During GGG's peak years there will never be anything like that monster ever again.

The first time was when Golovkin tore into Alvarez as a cheat after their rematch was cancelled. Regardless of how any of us in the peanut gallery feel about those failed tests, Alvarez will never forget all the things Golovkin said about him while he was suspended. Alvarez HAD to do the rematch- there was controversy of the first fight and the doping insinuations hanging over his head. Once he got the decision in part 2 he had gotten his vindication. The second time Golovkin completely disrespected him was how he stormed out of the ring and did not give Alvarez any credit for the win after the rematch, and all the "gift decision" comments since. It is simple math: Alvarez does not care if Golovkin would be easy work or the best challenge. He does not want to give Golovkin the payday or the chance for redemption because he hates the guy. Had Golovkin taken the high road with Alvarez either time mentioned above, there would be no problem. But when Golovkin made it easy for Alvarez to pass on the third match due to his refusal to go back to Vegas, Alvarez likely closed the door on a third fight for the foreseeable future. Alvarez does not need a third fight with Golovkin. Golovkin needs that third fight with Alvarez. It will either happen on completely Alvarez terms, or not at all.
I think the final straw for Canelo when they were negotiating the 3rd fight and Golovkin refused to fight in Las Vegas and insisted the fight be held in NYC

                    Always excuses..........

Just because a guy is pushed and promoted doesn't guarantee victory.
