Maybe not and he might hit his stride but like I said , so far every time he stepped up he hasn’t won
He’s gonna have to prove he belongs
Styles do make fights and imo we just witnessed GGG become old as fugh

Above GGG. Dervy won this fight. This fight told us more about what GGG isn't then it did about Dervy. He's not a great fight but GGG isn't the same since Canelo beat the Mexican Style out his azzz.

Andrade or Charlo would be nice fights but he's high risk, low reward because he doesn't have a belt so I don't know how eager they would be for a hard fight.

        Great fights though!!!

JaketheBoxer is on the money. Andrade or Charlo for sure. I would personally definitely favor Andrade and have Jermall as the more competitive fight, akin to tonight.

            1. Canelo
            2. Derevyanchenko
            3. Andrade
            4. Golovkin
            5. Charlo

If Canelo is done at 160 then:

            1. Derevyanchenko
            2. Andrade
            3. Golovkin
            4. Charlo
            5. Murata

Golovkin and Canelo are 1 and 2 interchangeably

I would say given SD’s performances against Jacobs and Golovkin, I would put him at 3

No one else in the division has actually done anything. Charlo/Andrade have embarrassing records at the weight

                This.

I felt he was a top 5 guy to most before this fight, but I think this gots to get him into the top 5 by all & maybe we can even say 4th or something if you got Danny in your top 3. So not much of a bump but thats how it goes when the decision dont go your way. I dont like jumping guys over guys they officially lost to.

And yea I think he has title holder potential.

And f#ck Mell or Andrade, run this one back. GGG is a scalp worth acquiring if you get the chance to.

I disagree. I think Derevyanchenko has more juice right now then either of those guys with his quality Ls vs Danny & now GGG. I think a Derevyanchenko does more for Mell or Andrade than vice versa. So I dont disagree its a risk, but its worth the risk cuz neither guy has a defining W & at this stage I think hes defining W for those guys.

If there is any angle to run this fight back THATS the move for Derevyanchenko. GGG is a high level scalp thatll make Derevyanchenko a legit name of his own if he can cut it off officially cuz I know some cats felt he did it unofficially already.

                    Right in the mix

With Jacobs going to 168lbs, and Saunders following him up (though said that he may come back down to 160lbs for the right fight, Alvarez, Jermall, Andrade, and Golovkin are valid at the weight, with Derevyanchenko basically at that same level (Korobov in the mix too).

I think long lanky guys like Andrade who move well will be a problem for D-Chenko. Guys like Golovkin and Canelo are more in his wheelhouse. He's gonna win some lose some in the top 5.
