Where Do We Rank Sergiy Derevyanchenko After This Fight?

In the eyes of most he beat the number one or two guy in the division. Where does this performance put him and what should be his next steps if the rematch doesn’t materialize?

Top 5 clearly. Should fight Andrade or Charlo.

That’s what I was thinking. Jump right into the top tier mix and prove your performance wasn’t a fluke.

Sergiy imo will be a very credible gatekeeper
Tough opponent and a good boxer but every time he stepped up he hasn’t been able to pull off a W

With Jacobs moving to 168, he's #2 after Canelo.

A win against Charlo or Andrade will solidify him as a force. Right now he’s battle tested, but as some mentioned without a clear defining victory. Well at least we know he can take a punch.

He is no gatekeeper. A gatekeeper is a guy who is there to get beaten by new guys. derevyanchenko is clearly top 5 and he has all chances to become a world champ.

Put up a great performance v Jacobs and tonight no one thinks it's a fluke

He needs to work on not getting knocked down off balance both of those soft KDs cost him the Jacobs fight and tonight's fight
