    I don't rate David Benavidez

He fights like a mummy, isn't that fast other than when he has his opponent pinned on the ropes, poor head movement, no special effects.

He'll do the booty dew within his next 5 fights.

Think you're in the minority. Also, he's known to have extremely fast hands, not sure why you're saying he doesn't. His handspeed excellent and combos are blazing.

the guy is good. He always delivers when he gets in the ring. No matter what your strategy is, Benavidez is ready to play. I'm excited to watch more of him

Yeah his combos are but he's slow to pull the trigger. His single punches are slow.

At least, he'll kick Caleb Plant's ass.

I need to see more before I make up my mind. I think he does string his punches together very well. He has a great jab, good timing, and knows how to switch up his rhythm so as to not become predictable. The offense is pretty good. He is a plodder though. He moves his upper body out of the way, but I wouldn’t say his defense is a plus. I like more than I hate considering his age and I wasn’t a fan prior to the Green fight, but I can still see Plant outboxing him.

I agree with this opinion of him as a fighter and not yours. He has very fast hands as can be plainly seen. He has power and a high work rate. I think he will be hard to beat at 168 and he is only 22 and could get even faster, stronger and better. 22 year old champions usually do.

He’s massively overrated by some people, and definitely has flaws as he lacks technique, footwork, defence etc.

But I wouldn’t say I don’t rate him, he definitely has talent, good hand speed, combination punching, power etc.

His main asset is arguably his size though, he reminds me of a 168 lb version of Munguia.
