I dont think anyone is celebrating. Its just how it is. And the bar has been lower trust me. Their used to be 15-20 PPV's a year in some dense PPV years. 5 aint sh^t compared to that. Sh^t I remember watching a SSM & Margarito co-headlining PPV back in the day vs guys I cant even recall now.

The gate was over a million which is impressive nonetheless.

Whether this fight did 275k or 300k buys, it was a success and FAR surpasses anything a non-Canelo or non-Pacquiao PPV has done over the past few years. It did more than DOUBLE what Crawford/Khan did and his other PPV surpassed the 300k buys range. Spence has separated himself from the non-superstars.
He possibly could've gotten more but I doubt he did..

They did just under $1mill which is terrible. That's like an average of $200 a ticket. They sold 3500 but comped 3900.. smfh

I mean where you gonna put them if not on PPV? Tank is huge for a lil guy already. Devin is being compared to Floyd. Teofimo outside of his last fight or two has damn near been accused of using cheat codes from fortnite in the ring to end mfers nights. King Ry vs Tank is the only one that doesnt sound PPVish enough when I really think about it but maybe his SM presence pushes it that far all the same idk.

A million gate or a near million gate isn't terrible. The comps were high, but if you can't move them, then get rid of them how you can. At least you can still make money off those comped tickets, though most states tax you on them depending on how much you give up. It is based on the percentage of sold tickets. Either way, gat number was solid even if tickets sold were lacking.

I don't think you are understanding me here. I'm not saying you can't put him on PPV against Haney or Lopez or Garcia. I'm saying those fights are not on the horizon. Who is Tank's PPV fight in the short term? Who can he fight on PPV in 2020?

If it aint Manny, Porter or Crawford next, IMO it shouldn't be on PPV.
I feel you, but honestly, before last weekend, did you think Porter would be on your list? Danny might be just as good! Now that Errol and Shawn are talking rematch, I would love to see Pacquiao vs. DSG! Roach has always wanted that, but the politics didn't work!

Just passing along the info. Errol and Shawn want to do it, and I think it's a damn good idea! Danny needs Pacquiao or Ugas! We know which one he would prefer!

Yes sir! Run it back! Wasn't PPV worthy before, but it is now!

I think Loma, Berchelt if he moves to 135, Devin if he wins a belt or beats Loma or Teo if he wins a belt or beats Loma ALL COULD, the key word, HAPPEN in 2020.

And idk if LSC or GRJ are even on the list like that anymore. Isnt LSC at 126 still? Him & GRJ gotta jump up 2 divisions to fight Tank now. With how risk measured those guys are I think the ship has maybe sailed for good on those already seemingly unlikely fights. Think Tevin gots a better shot at moving up & landing a Tank PPV then those two likely do & I think Tevin's been walking on ice in high heels vs the lower level guys hes been beating so he might roll an L any fight & be outta play.

Farmer was definitely going to be on PPV.

Well, Tank said he can still make 130 so he can drop down to make the LSC and GRJ fights.

REALLY hope we get the Lomachenko showdown next year. It is time.
