Why is everyone on here high fiving over what will amount to a $300-400 annual price tag to watch a few cards? Damn the bar for PPVs has been lowered

Crawford in his two PPVs did not even surpass 200k buys...COMBINED!
Lol at you trying to act lien Spence is a ppv Star. And lol when you compare the opponents. If it was Crawford vs Mikey and Porter u know the numbers would be very similar.

Trying to brag about 275k ppvs like that’s some great number is pretty pathetic. Even 350k buys would be weak. The fact that Spence sold 20% less with a better opponent is very telling in itself

Um yes, 275k is a solid number. Crawford did 150k buys LESS than that. Why did he so much less against Khan then? I mean is Porter THAT much of a bigger name than Khan? Didn't you predict this PPV would do 200k buys? Far surpassed your expectations? I put my over/under at 250k and once again I was pretty dead on. Been in the range for all these PPVs. If it does anywhere from 275-300k buys, still FAR trumps what anyone minus Wilder is doing. GGG/Lemieux, GGG/Jacobs, Crawford/Khan, Crawford/Postol, Ward/Kovalev I and II didn't even get close to what Spence did against Porter. This man sold over 600k buys in his first two PPVs against non-established PPV stars. LIS, he has separated himself from the pack....Minus only Wilder. And let's see what he does against Ortiz.

Even 350k buys would be weak? HAHAHAHAHA, okay so what does that make the 120k buys that Crawford did vs Khan? Give me a word for that?

ive never heard people bragging a man did 275k ppvs as good lmao. Porter was seen as a better opponent than khan. That's for sure. Everyone knew khan was shot.

You completely glossed over the fact that Spence’s ppv numbers decreased by 20% from his first ppv. Care to Explain the downward spiral?

I said I thought it would do 200-250k buys. I wasn’t too far off.

Sure, Haney/Lopez/Loma can be PPV fights eventually. But is he getting any of them any time soon? Will they try to put him in against someone like LSC on PPV? GRJ?

12million for that garbage and only 3500 tickets sold. Lol. I see why Bob is so desperate and in need of PBC fighters. He was willing to burn money just to keep Fury away from doing business with PBC. He didn’t think it would be this bad though. Meanwhile Al just made Ruiz wealthy and famous within a year of getting him out that horrible TopRank contract. Checkmate!

Um, definitely good when you compare them to the non-PPV stars that have been on PPV the last few years. In fact, completely destroys all their numbers. LOL, you were putting the over/under at 200k buys and said this fight is trash and Porter isn't a big name.

LOL what? Why would this fight have done more than the Garcia fight? Are you saying Porter is a bigger name than Garcia? That's not how it works buddy. And the fact he will STILL get close to 300k buys or even possibly surpass it against someone like Porter speaks volumes of his drawing power.

You say 20% decrease YET YOU WERE EXPECTING A FEW BIGGER DECREASE BY PREDICTING 200K BUYS. Stop it, just accept reality. My statement that Spence has separated himself from all non-superstars (Minus Wilder) such as Canelo/Pacquiao is true. No one else can do the numbers Spence is doing or will be doing going forward. He's about to have third PPV within 10 or so months. You got Bob telling the world that Porter isn't a big fight for Crawford and isn't worth it. He knows his guy isn't nearly as big of a draw as Spence and he's tired of his PPVs tanking.

Convenient of you to not mention that 60K PPV super flop Crawford/Arum had. Amir Khan is light years ahead of Porter in terms of popularity and it still did 50% less than Spence Porter. So in one fight Spence has outsold both of Crawford Ppv fights lol. Those are facts that you can’t spin.

10 shows for the price of owning a TV, 22 shows if you've got a basic cable package, and basically 45 cards if you pay extra for Showtime (adding in the ShoBox cards).

You don't have to buy the PPV
I know, I just streamed it for free. PPV will be dead soon, as PBC will soon find out. ESPN, too
