yuh but its clusters, not all over.

dont see no decent rugger team in the whole of the Americas. Argies are the whipping boys of the tournies.

yeh theres fortunately a lot of smart americans too.

theres a lot of thick rugger players as well of course, but theres so few of them around in normal life, you dont notice their braggadocio outside red brick unis and posh schools.

It is a class thing also, Rugby for me always seems a elitist sports for some reason 'Even though it should be accessible just like Football'.

But nevertheless, not really massively interested in the game 'There is a recently retired Rugby Player who is aspiring to have a Mixed Martial Arts fight, I believe he is documenting his training for this event'.

Hell nah, I don't think he makes it past Chad Johnson if they boxed.

interesting and accurate revelations.thank you. its not all Mundine.

true about the elitism, I liked the uni rugby crowd generally but hated the ones who were up themselves too much, thinking they were doing the Uni a favour by being there and winning meaningless cowboy cups.

Its a bizarrre reversal in wales, where its the grassroots sport there ahead of anything else.

brandon was a great athlete...he would get wrecked...you cant make up for a lack of years of boxing muscle memory

now had brandon trained from an early age he might have been something...the US had a ton of athletes that, if trained from a young age, would be good/great HWs....the money is just easier elsewhere in the US boxing landscape today than it was 30 years ago

good luck to the kid but ask Seth Mitchell what happens when you think boxing is as easy as running around on a football field.... no team mates, no time outs, no pass interference and most definitely no helmet...good luck but no boxing ain't something you can just pick up an excel.....years or training and muscle memory......Dont let the Andy Ruiz Dad bod hype u up...Andy has Pedigree and has completed at a high level for many years.

Brandon Masrshall will be interesting if he follows through on it. Most Afro-American athletes box to some degree coming up. We all did. Worked all the sports including boxing.

That said, great athleticism does not prepare you for getting hit back. A lot of guys can knock people out, but they can't take it in return. Also, there is the matter of having a "fighters" mentality. Some guys like to fight, many do not ... especially when it is against someone your own size.

Wlaimir Klit always had trouble and/or losses fighting guys his own size, who hit back. Won't be a complete surprise if Marshall can't handle it.

He is a big, strong, athletic guy though. He may like to fight. I wouldn't dismiss him lightly without seeing how he responds to it. There's also the chance that he takes guys out before they can really hit him. We'll have to see ...

I love that he's gonna try it.
