Which is why Crawford needs to get the Hell out of that Top rank contract asap. The longer he stays the more irrelevant he becomes over there because their are no other titleholders at ESPN for him to fight in his weight division.

Also, he is running the risk of becoming a forgotten man. In 2020, it's time for him to sign with the PBC.

Both Eddie Hearn and Oscar De La Hoya agree that Top rank is bad for Terence Crawford and is holding him back. He needs to expand and grow into a mainstream, box office superstar.

Bud should leave Arum to his Alzheimer and sign with Eddie Hearns. Eddie, although a piece of ****, already knows more about organizing cross-platform fights

I see it the same with Wilder vs Fury and Top Rank. Arum didn't want the fight to get bigger. He wanted the PBC to grow Wilder's profile and piggyback off of his increased profile while Fury fights nobodies.

I mentioned how he changed the numbers yesterday. By tomorrow it will have done 100k buys LOL.

But wanting the Spence fight is perfectly fine, that's the fight we all want. And no reason it shouldn't happen next year. Spence will fight three times next year and one of them could be Crawford. However, Arum knows if he gets any of the top PBC fighters, it will have to be on PPV. He's had Crawford twice on PPV and both times it has tanked. The man hasn't reached 200k buys in both PPVs COMBINED. He completely wrote Porter off and said no way does he deserve 5M, which is about what Khan got paid. Porter being on the Inside The PBC show and always being in front of the camera has made him a bigger name as well as his performance vs Spence. Arum is doing Crawford a huge disservice by downplaying any of these potential match ups. If Spence goes DSG and Pacquiao in the first half of the year, then it makes sense for Crawford to fight Porter and the winners face off end of the year.

Also, did you read Coppinger's chat where he mentioned how Crawford is demanding a hefty purse vs Mean Machine? He knows how much Lomachenko made vs Crolla and Campbell and he's going to want 5M+ himself. And of course he knows what Fury has been making. That may be another reason the fight hasn't been announced yet.

So to recap, Hearn said he doesn't think this PPV quite reaches 300k buys but it won't be far off. Coppinger said it should surpass 300k buys and then Evan Rutkowski said he's hearing it will get very close to 300k buys….. But good ole Bob said this only did 130-150k buys L-O-L.

He shouldn't have to leave TR if he doesn't want to leave TR.

However, he shouldn't buy into Bob's BS narratives. Bob is wanting 50/50 against Spence after admitting the Khan fight did 125k buys and is saying Porter is not a legitimate opponent for Bud. He's going to end up freezing Crawford out himself with these statements and demands. He said Crawford makes easier work out of Porter than Spence...And that may be the case, but only one way to find out. Though he simply doesn't want to lose any more money on Crawford fights. He admitted they took a big loss against Khan and said it is crazy to offer someone like Porter 5M. In that case, I say good luck Bob!

As I understand it, he's still making more money per fight than Spence though.

There is no way in hell he is making more than Spence after his last two PPVs and what Crawford/Khan did.

Spence made either 10M or close to it vs Mikey and according to Coppinger, has a guarantee of 7-8M for Porter.

You think Crawford is making more than that?

Yes, I do think Crawford is earning more at the moment. According to what I've read, Spence actually earned $3 million for the Garcia fight. Not bad, but not the cross-over superstar money you are imagining. According to Forbes Magazine, Spence made a guarantee of $2 million for the Porter fight (plus an undisclosed percentage of PPV sales). Again, nowhere near the Canelo money you are imagining.

Crawford made more than those two Spence purses when he earned $5.5 million in his fight against Amir Khan, so, in strict financial terms, he's not losing out with Top Rank just yet. I do agree that Arum needs to secure Bud legacy fights now though.

LOL, you are going with the reported purses. Sorry, but that's not reality. Fury's reported purse was 1M last fight, yet we all know he is making 10M+ per fight.

So Spence/Garcia did over 300k buys while doing a 4.7M gate, but you think Spence only made 3M? How does that even make any sense to you?
