Where have you been. Many on the board called Kova a cherry pick and that Canelo ducked GGG.

This is the same type of fans whom say Hulk Hogan ducked etc... for Wrestlemania. It’s sad how in real life people are suckered into this. Political history has proven that its easier to win votes when you target the less educated or naive or the ruralites.

I guess we are supposed to pretend that the Kovalev/Canelo fight odds are just a conspiracy by Golovkin fans to discredit Canelo?

yea, but those clowns are laughable... they are thoroughly embarrassing themselves

            Kovalev > Golovkin

a head-to-head comparison is fair, considering the fact that Canelo is about to fight Kovalev head-to-head... Golovkin will struggle with Derevyanchenko... and yet, Kovalev would probably stop Derevyanchenko, Jacobs, and Golovkin himself... those guys do not have the combination of skill/defence/SHARPNESS/speed/power necessary to beat the much larger Kovalev... especially skills/sharpness, those guys are not well-rounded enough to beat Kovalev

weight matters... Golovkin would not even go to 168 for Steve Rolls

Kovalev is a tough fight for any LHW... he is a VERY tough fight for a MW

the g-strings are full-of-it... as usual

to beat Kovalev, will take... skill/defence/SHARPNESS/speed/power

              Kovalev would stop Golovkin

Golovkin is too slow, and too hittable, to beat Kovalev... and he is not well-rounded enough to jump TWO divisions

just the simple... " step-back, right-hand "... gameplan, that Kovalev used on Hopkins whenever he looked to open up... would handle Golovkin, who is not as well-rounded as Canelo/Hopkins

the odds are what they are, because of Canelo's skill... I doubt that Golovkin would be the favorite over Kovalev at this point... and guys like Jacobs/Derevyanchenko would be totally written-off

Alvarez and Yarde, would give Golovkin hell... and I would favor both of them to beat him

              stay salty g-strings

                That’s not true.
Whether it’s Canelo or a popular Puerto Rican guy like Cotto, ticket prices have commanded more for championship bouts.
I hear ya man, and I saw that convo between you guys...but I think he was saying the average fight at MSG has similar type numbers, whether it is true idk.

I was just saying that citing Cotto, or Canelo, numbers...I mean Cotto was a legit PPV star in a sport that had fewer than 5...and Canelo is the biggest star in boxing...I like GGG and he is a star in his own way, but he never has gotten big time numbers without Canelo...I doubt he made more than $6 million in a fight before that Nelo 1 fight.

I can't take you seriously at all man...you sound very young by the way you post on here...just think you would get more feedback on here if you toned down the rhetoric a bit and tried to be a little more neutral.

As it is, you seem very very biased my friend

                    Who is kidding who?

Sergiy Derevyanchenko is a real danger a great amateur record and in his prime. He is very tough and has good boxing skills. Jacobs had a rough time with him.
Kovalev is at the end of his career. One good body punch and he will ask Canelo "which way to the door" He wouldn't be in there if GB and Hearn thought there was a chance of losing their Golden Goose. After he wins Oscar will proclaim him God's gift to boxing.
GGG is in tough and earning that DANZ money.
Canelo is too young, too fast and punches good to the body. They put the money in Canelos bank account already.
The only question is will he be off or on the cycle?

Straight from Andrade's mouth. GGG ducked him, and for that reason Canelo said he doesn't deserve a trilogy. If GGG had taken that fight and beaten Andrade... the pressure would have been immense for Canelo to fight him in September and he probably jumps at the chance to become undisputed middleweight champion.
So after 9 months of not even remotely training you expect GGG to jump into a world title fight despite the very real possibility of the Canelo Golovkin trilogy being made for Mexican independence weekend?! The logical thing to do would be to take a tune up, which Rolls was, and then jump in with Canelo. But what do you know... Nelo didn't want that work!

For the record I rate Andrade but once he tastes Golovkin's power he'll be in in trouble. Even Akavov had him on wobbly legs in round 9. Also the African Walter whatever his surname was legit dropped him, it should've been a double knockdown but they only gave it to BooBoo. I really can't see him seeing the final bell against Golovkin.
