I expect he will fight 2x a year on PPV then once in a "look good" fight on Fox when he defends against a relatively unknown mandatory.

I hope they consider putting the Spence/Danny fight on regular TV and then doing Porter rematch, Manny and Crawford on PPV.

I'm saying price isn't a factor. As jimgilmore likes to say, people who will buy a $20 PPV will buy a $75 PPV. If people feel an event is worth it they're going to buy it.

Fox is doing a great job promoting these as events rather than just fights. Who doesn't like to get together with family & friends for a big event?

I'm good with it and purchased the PPV. And the card delivered.

And yes, I never bought into the reasoning of lowering the price point to increase buyers. Will you gain enough buyers to overcome the price difference? Likely not.

I'm not convincing you of anything. Maybe you're a loser with no friends so you have to watch PPV's alone but the majority of people don't. The average PPV has 6 people watching which breaks down to $12 each when charging $75.

Oh no, Spence isn't fighting DSG on regular FOX. They want to promote this PPV a week before the Super Bowl which will be on FOX this year. And after the numbers this PPV did, no way can you put Spence on PPV against someone who is similar in name value as Porter.

But if he goes DSG/Ugas and then either Pacquiao/Crawford? Then yes, I can see the Ugas fight being on FOX instead of PPv.

If I was back in silicon valley, my living room is big, and my tv is big. we go 10 to 12 people deep. everyone brings food, and drink. we have had close to 20 people watching PPV fights.

Here in Japan, i do not buy ppv. sometimes it is free.

And Spence shouldn't be leaving money on the table. If FOX could pay him what he would get for the PPV? Then great! If not, then it should be PPV since he is delivering good numbers.

I just go to the movies nowadays to watch all PPV. Obviously most of my boxing viewing is usually alone but I enjoy that everyone comes together to watch these big fights.
