    Errol Spence Was Absolutely Right.........

In demanding to have this fight on PPV. It wasn't the best for the fans, but let's not forget that the original plan was to have this fight in August on regular FOX. It would have done great ratings but even Haymon didn't think it would have done THIS good on PPV. Spence would have been leaving some money on the table if he accepted the original offer to fight on FOX.

Now, it is clear that majority of his fights from this point on will be on PPV. How do you guys feel about that? And just looking ahead, there is a chance that he fights three times on PPV next year if he gets DSG/Pacquiao/Crawford. Heck, even the Porter rematch if he doesn't get Porter. Not sure who the last fighter was to get three fights on PPV in a year, but definitely hasn't happened much, if at all.

How do we feel about that? We feel sorry for the bank balances of American Boxing fans.

Errol Spence is definitely worth paying for, as is Porter.

Absolutely, will be costing at least $75 bucks to watch Spence on PPV the rest of his career....Unless they even up that for a certain match up, though that seems unlikely as no fight is reaching Mayweather/Pacquiao or Mayweather/McGregor level. Down the line possibly a Canelo showdown but he is locked into DAZN for a while so that's not happening either.

How many people buy a PPV individually? The average PPV has 6 people watching which breaks down to $12 each.

I'm interested in seeing if Porter takes the Crawford fight next...Just because it will be another PPV fight for him. He's not getting anyone next minus Pacman or Spence rematch that will go on PPV. This is why the potential Crawford fight is more possible than folks think. Porter has gotten a taste of the PPV limelight and the PPV money, so there may be no going after that...At least not next.

No clue, but the point is he is now clearly a PPV fighter who will stay on PPV until he levels off.

I expect he will fight 2x a year on PPV then once in a "look good" fight on Fox when he defends against a relatively unknown mandatory.

I hope they consider putting the Spence/Danny fight on regular TV and then doing Porter rematch, Manny and Crawford on PPV.

I'm saying price isn't a factor. As jimgilmore likes to say, people who will buy a $20 PPV will buy a $75 PPV. If people feel an event is worth it they're going to buy it.

Fox is doing a great job promoting these as events rather than just fights. Who doesn't like to get together with family & friends for a big event?

LOL only MCC would try to convince us an 80 Dollar PPV is actually 12.
