I agree with Deontay. He beat Stiverene, Breazeale and Ortiz.

There is literally nobody he could beat who is any better than those fighters.

That's why all his other 35+ wins are against fighters we never heard of.

Just because you KO all your opponents but one doesn't automatically give you entry into the HOF! That's the dumbest thing I've heard yet today. Lots of opponents have great looking records when they're fighting bums. A good 30 of those wins are over no hopers and the bulk of the remaining 11 wins were against huge underdogs. Wilder's record is a byproduct of the Mayweather era of taking fights that are low risk, high reward.
That doesn't mean nothing. The bar to Canastota; The IBHOF has been set so low in its later years that boxers with even worse boxing credentials than Deontay Wilder are in such as Arturo Gatti, Ray Mancini and Sylvester Stallone. The HOF has become a farce and a caricature of its former self.

What are their most notable wins and what was Sylvester Stallone's career boxing record? That's right. Just as I thought. None of them have any. So there is no real Criterion for getting into the International Boxing Hall of Fame these days other than longevity and name recognition.

Wilder is poor man`s Vitali Klitschko. He copies his style totally, just he is less skilled. Vitali was more superior warrior and I would say he hit harder.

Just his current knockout ratio of 95 percent alone is worthy enough to get him a notable Hall of Fame recognition or mention. It just so happens to be the highest KO ratio in boxing history.

Poor article. Not even mentioning Ortiz, his best win in his most notable wins. Also a draw with Tyson Fury is a great result, even though he lost that fight by a long way, the official result is draw and his power would cause any HW ever massive problems.

30 of them were against cab drivers. I'm not saying he isn't a devastating puncher but his KO ratio looks as good as it does because he took forever to step up.

He needs to get busy if he wants to be considered in the HOF. Win a Fury rematch and beat the Ruiz/AJ winner to become undisputed is a minimum for me. It's hardly the deepest division in the world. Usyk would be a worthy name too.

You're a fraud that's what you are, I had somewhat respect for you before the fury fight but after he toyed with you and then the judges gave you the draw which was the biggest gift in your life...that's when you showed your true colors..a real man would of been ashamed and given the belt to the better man. What did this fraud do? He said he thought he won lol...looking at his record it's clear as day that this guy has not faced anyone worthy except Fury. I always thought AJ was a fraud but he admitted that he lost, gave respect to his opponent and didn't cry foul play etc... I say it now and I will always say it, AJ..Fury and even Ruiz beat him...all better boxers and all 3 are 1000 times better than the rubbish this fraud has faced. Oh and who's he gonna fight next?! Yup the 60 year old Cuban lol...but hey the 60 year old Cuban gets a pass, I mean look at his other opponents he's had, they making the 60 year old look good

they dont fight anything alike and vitali was not a power puncher. he was an accumulation arm puncher. they both have terrible resumes though and its easy to ko bums hence why both have high ko percentages
