Plant talks a lot of **** but he more than backs it up. Next to BJS He is the fastest in the division, has better footwork and showing in his last fight has power. Benevidez I like but he leaves himself open all the time for counters which is custom made for Plant

I agree. Plant is very slick.
He fights to the level of his competition, he believes in himself, and let's not forget, his mother was killed by police this year.
Dude has some demons but he deals well with them.

I like Plant, but while he was outboxing & tagging Uzcategui in the first half of their fight, he never hurt him & Uzcategui's pressure had him gassed in the second half of the fight. Benavidez is a much more skilled pressure fighter with faster hands, good hooks to the body, better defense & an iron chin too. Plant will make him step his game up being that he moves more than Dirrell was forced to move, but I don't see him outboxing & keeping Benavidez off of him for 12 rounds.

I like this fight. Young champions facing off against each other with some bad blood. Unifying titles. If only this happened more often in the sport.

This would add some life to a division which had been pretty boring since degale, Jack, groves left the division in tandem and ward , froch etc the super six boys before that. None of their current successors have really lit the torch paper. The dirrells were both past their sell by date had no interest in them, that's uztaguy and benavidezs best wins. Plant hasn't fought no one. Groves was halfway out the door and back from surgery when Smith beat him and now Smith's beating up on middle weights, has a crap resume . Smw needs to pick back up
