The same WBA that Eddie Hearn paid to let Joshua fight for their vacant title vs Wlad when he was already IBF champion???

The same WBA that removed Luis Ortiz from the rankings to protect AJ?

The same WBA that is placing Gervonta Davis in the position to be Lomachenko's mandatory so Arum and Lomachenko can stop begging?

You sure this stuff is Haymon friendly???

I was thinking that. They're all corrupt (except the IBF...now) but the WBA doesn't seem to have a favorite promoter, they're just ****ing corrupt as a whole and sell out to the highest bidder.

Why? Because it’s HBO you dumbass. Lol. Idiot questions. The better you brand your fighters the more subs. And Haymon “takes care” of his fighters remember? 550k is great money for an incarcerated individual. Wade was advised that if it was too hard knox in the ring then he should fold anyways since he was in a good position. He didn’t even have a realistic camp. Remember that Johnson got injured. Wade and Haymon took the opportunity. They both knew Wade didn’t have a chance in such short notice. Don’t be naive.

Do you think Ruiz Jr. would’ve got a shot at AJ had he been on house arrest? DAZN wouldn’t risk this publicity, but HBO would!

The point is the theme of the thread. The IBF knew about Wade.

He took the fight because he was inactive Golovkin's manditory and money fell into his lap. You are overthinking this.

Im not following boxing politics as much, so not sure if you are right or wrong with Ortiz being removed.

Fighting for another vacant belt while being a champ is unusual, but at the end of the day beneficial for reducing the number of champions. Lomachenko just recently also fought for the vacant WBC title, while already being a unified champion.

I'm not sure if WBA is placing anything at all. I can't remember the last time when they forced their super title holder to defend against their regular title holder. They promised to reduce the belts a couple of years ago, but since then keep on churning out WBA regular belts. Now they have regular belts in nearly every division. Garbage.

PBC Acknowledge that WBA Regular Belt while trying to ignore the WBO and IBO Belt is very Hypocritical as I posted before. Would much rather be WBO or even IBO Champion rather than being the WBA Regular or WBA Gold Champion

                no idea

but it would not surprise me if Haymon was exploiting the WBA greed... and is smart enough to position his guys to take advantage

that is more likely to be the case

there are 17 divisions in boxing... you only mentioned 5

you could be right, that would not surprise me either... but it makes sense to me that Haymon has a good enough stable, and is smart enough... to manoevre his guys into those positions... that is what he does for a job

The IBO belt doesn't count. Everyone ignores it, and rightfully so.

Were the WBA also to blame for Ortiz turning down a $7million offer to fight AJ as a voluntary?

Ortiz was removed as AJ's mando because he elected to fight Wilder for the WBC title instead, then failed a PED test.

                      My Point Exactly!

So that make those who Ignore the IBO but acknowledge the WBA "Running Up Belts" which is what the Regular and Gold WBA Belts are...a bit hypocritical!

WBA Tarnishing their own damn Prestige, it is the oldest of the Belt Organizations if I remember correctly so they shouldn't even be doing this BS
