    clear haymon pays off wba

every wba trinket to be pointlessly created this year has been for the benefit of haymon guys

at 175 they created wba interim belt for browne and jack to fight over
at 154 they created wba belt for lara's easy fight with ramon alvarez
at 140 they created a wba belt for barrios and the judges were paid off
at 135 they're creating a wba belt for tank's fight with shot gamboa
at 130 they took the wba belt off the rightful champ cancio and gave it to tank. now they're creating a new belt for LSC

The WBA to Haymon is only what the WBO is to Arum

Can’t be outraged over one and not the other

wbo is not just creating extra belts out of nothing. if it was the same, it would be like if wbo created a 175 belt for zurdo. but they didn't, he's gotta wait and win a belt because wbo already have a champ

tank wants at belt a 130? wba give him the belt of the real champ without a fight, tank wants a belt at 135? wba just give him one so he doesn't have to face the real champ. where are wbo doing this over and over this year?

Yes but the point is that these organisations are clearly promoter compromised

Just because they do it in different ways - I.e two championships or favoured rankins/dropping fighters, is largely irrelevant

The only body that doesn’t do this is the IBF, which is partly why big name fighters tend to avoid it (along with the mandated same day weigh in, and enforced mandatories)

yeah i agree ibf is better. wba the worst. other 2 inbetween

it's far from irrelevant, all the other orgs go with one champ per division, wba goes with extra. you don't see any difference, really? just creating new belts out of thin air in response to a bribe is ok because a lot of arum guys get high rankings for wbo? haymon guys get high wba ranking, can't they just fight the wba champ like arum guys fight wbo champ? instead a new belt gets created to avoid the top guys facing each other, so fans get more pointless mismatches

if zurdo was a haymon fighter he would get a pointless wba trinket vs a scrub. because he's with arum he's gotta face an actual world champ. better this way rather than every talented fighter to just get a new belt rather than challenge for one

The WBA didn’t sanction GGG vs Brook by “principle...”. The IBF allowed an incarcerated-home fighter, Wade, let Haymon take a nice 10% cut from Wade’s 500+k purse with GGG... This is how we know Wade took a dive and luckily much industry were so geeked over GGG anyways as well as seeing GGG beat up a bruh that nobody cared or noticed!

WTF took a dive?? Why would anybody pay Wade to take a dive or somehow influence him. He had a snowball's chance in hell of winning, incarcerated or not. How do you come up this crap. I'll give you this you have an active imagination.

LMAO. You apparently don’t remember a time when the feds shook boxing because of dives...

Why? Because it’s HBO you dumbass. Lol. Idiot questions. The better you brand your fighters the more subs. And Haymon “takes care” of his fighters remember? 550k is great money for an incarcerated individual. Wade was advised that if it was too hard knox in the ring then he should fold anyways since he was in a good position. He didn’t even have a realistic camp. Remember that Johnson got injured. Wade and Haymon took the opportunity. They both knew Wade didn’t have a chance in such short notice. Don’t be naive.

Do you think Ruiz Jr. would’ve got a shot at AJ had he been on house arrest? DAZN wouldn’t risk this publicity, but HBO would!

The point is the theme of the thread. The IBF knew about Wade.

The WBA will bend over backwards for anyone who pays them.

They’re definitely the worst of the four.

The current WBA ratings list five interim champions and ten gold champions.

One interim champion is with Haymon. One gold champion is with Haymon.
