Clinching and lowblows is just a part of boxing that the ref’s don’t care much for. Porter has little to do with it. The fighter’s best bet is to complain to the ref to get him to actually care.

spence punched when porter came in. brook clinched.

boxing strength and wrestling strength are different htings. brook was able ot neutralize porter because he was taller and very muscular and used leverage and strength to tie him up.

Comfortably? I seem to recall the fight being very close...

You say they are better fighters, but all I see are a group of fighters scraping split decisions against each other - with the exception of Brook/Spence which was competitive until Brook’s injury worsened

They are all the same calibre of fighter. Look how many fights provide ample evidence for it:

          Brook-Spence until the injury
          Brook-Porter
          Thurman-Garcia
          Thurman-Porter
          Porter-Garcia
          Porter-Spence

I can’t remember off the top of my head, but I bet most of those ended up with split/majority decisions. I don’t think that’s a coincidence
This is nothing but the truth right here. All of these guys are basically all on the same level and beat each other in very close/competitive fights every single time.

The Brook fight was pretty one sided. Brook was too good for Porter and night. The Jab and Straight right kept Shawn at Bay all night. Kell was able to tie Keith up as well. Errol was calling Kell out after that fight and Kell seemed reluctant. He fought GGG instead (worst career decision ever). It was like when Khan fought Canelo to avoid Kell. Just really weird.
