People forget that before moving up to face GGG, Brook was a considered very big and strong welterweight even though he was still unproven and had not really stepped up his competition. He was strong enough to be able to clinch Porter up and not allow himself to be muscled around.
How Brook NEUTRALIZED Porter

It's hard to deduct points against any opponent Porter is facing because Porter himself is bending the rules a lot.Comment

I seem to remember him landing stiff jabs, straight rights and counter lefts. He wasn't shy of tying up Porter too when he had to.
He had to weather the storm at times, like all of Porter's opponents, but Brook could fight.Comment

Brook the most talented welter among the current crop
Unfortunately, the trajectory of his career was **** and he was unable to reach his full potential
Then he overcompensated going full ****** after years of random fights in Europe by jumping 2 division to fight a machine in 3gComment

Yeah I agree with you there mate. Him and his team made some strange career choices. It's frustrating looking back.Brook the most talented welter among the current crop

Well, apart from the "holy ****, triangular logic means little?" element of this, how do we know that those three are "better" fighters than Brook?
He's only fought one of them, and he was ahead on points against Spence after seven rounds. Even after eight rounds - where his glass eye sockets began to let him down - it was still a three-way split draw.
People remember Kell and his glass eyesockets in that fight, but then don't remember Spence looking like a bell end at the halfway stage, 2 points down on 2 judges' cards.
But Brook really seemed to screw his career trajectory with that GGG fight, and now he's in the wilderness, while Spence, as shown in my avy, is getting his pecker blown by Porter.Comment
