Saunders would school Benavidez. Plant might outbox him too.

He’s pretty big and imposing for a 168 fighter and throws some nice hard punches but he wouldn’t be able to do anything except follow Saunders around the ring and missing.

Also, notice how he never calls out Smith, despite Smith being ranked no.1, Ring magazine champ etc. He knows that he won’t get away with just being big and strong because Smith is even bigger than him. Smith would starch him within 4 rounds.

Benavidez is probably the weakest champ now and that’d show if he fought the others, especially Smith or Saunders. Plant may be a 50/50 fight, maybe give the edge to Plant.

      Lol

Benavidez is clearly the best smw right now.

Cmon man David would hurt plant badly and sounders is a joke euro level bum no one cares nor takes him serious.

As for smith why would he call out a guy who no one knows it’s the other way around these guys will call out David because he’s the best in the division.

        No chance.

Saunders at his best would beat Benavidez without breaking a sweat. Easy work and it’s not even Saunders’ best weight.

Once Benavidez is fighting the real top fighters, you will see he is a hype job, 100%

For my money, David Benavidez is at the top of the food chain as far as the Super Middleweight division is concerned. I would just love to see him challenge Canelo Alvarez at 168 or a unification bout with Caleb Plant.

You want to see him fight Plant but don’t want to see him fight Smith, who is regarded as no.1, ring magazine champ and WBA champ? Lol

The 168 fighters like Benavidez and Plant are just acting like Smith doesn’t exist, when he’s regarded as no.1 really.

Saunders is 5x the boxer Plant is too, so that fight would be better but Benavidez knows he would get embarrassed, slowly following BJS around the ring trying to land a shot. It would be a shutout.

Good performance although not sure he's looking quite as electric as before the the outside the ring issues

Benavidez/Plant/Smith/BJS all could potentially have a breakout 2020 by winning unifications and get a Canelo shot. On paper you'd expect the 2 matchroom guys to fights and the 2 pbc guys to fight but any combination would make a hard to call fight

I am sorry, mate! I forgot about Callum Smith because he is British. That fight would be hard to make just like Canelo Alvarez because they have rival promoters and are on opposing platforms and television networks.

However, given Smith's size, he would definitely give Benavidez a run for his money but he won't be the favorite to win because David is huge and punches like a freakin mule. He would be the easy favorite going into that bout.

It’s too bad Jesse Hart went up in weight. Hart vs. Benavidez would’ve been a WAR!!!!! Hopefully we get Benavidez vs. Plant or Smith next
