The problem is that he popped positive. We don't know the source of the clenbuterol, but it does cast su****ion. I won't call him a cheat because I really don't know but those positive results do make me wonder. There are plenty of Mexican fighters who aren't popping positive.

It's fair game to not completely exonerate Alvarez after he tested positive. Why people get emotional when someone doesn't give Alvarez a pass baffles me.

As far as Canelo cheating, the facts are that he tested positive for trace amounts of clenbuterol that were consistent with eating tainted meat.

His detractors have no proof that he was deliberately cheating. It could very well have been accidental as he claims.

Nobody on NSB ever questions Francisco Vargas whom was exonerated under VADA whom had double of Clen “nano traces” of 1.3ng vs Canelo’s .06ng.

Nobody ever brings up Vargas because it messes with their agenda towards Canelo. The Canelo haters rely on people to not bring this up as well ask USADA having exonerated athletes under Clenbuterol.

Again, Francisco Vargas was exonerated while with Conte 45 days away from his fight vs Canelo whom was at 78 days away.

I agree with you 100%. Tyson Fury's boxing skills stand out in the heavyweight division but they are mediocre compared to those of great boxers in lower weight classes.

Deontay Wilder couldn't box his way out of a paper bag. He just happens to have unreal, fight ending power in his right hand.

Neither of these two belong on a P4P list.

I'm not writing that you are wrong for not putting him in a top 10, rather that you shouldnt have to be well rounded or win simply on traditional boxing skill alone (rather than athletic ability) to be top 10.

Take the bolded text above. Hypothetically speaking, if that single ability is so dominant that he is capable of beating everyone he faces then shouldn't that earn him a high rating?

If a fighter does nothing right, but knocks everyone out due to his athletic ability, or one punch strength, then shouldnt he be ranked regardless of his lack of skill?

Now I am not claiming that is Wilder, if you think his success is due to weaker opponents then that is fine. Rather it shouldnt matter how you win (short of corruption); if it is by boxing skill or just raw abilities.
