Wallin vs Kabayel would be ok. Kabayel has a good win over Chisora & another decent win over Rudenko. If Fury beats Wilder a Pulev fight could be in the cards at some point. Pulev gets the Ruiz/Joshua winner.

I'm not attempting to take sides on this, or claim that Haymon did anything wrong, but the point of that allegation - valid or not - was that Haymon was claiming not to be a promoter and Ol Bob was saying that he got round this by getting other people to do the promotional work to circumvent the Ali Act. Bob's as slippery as any other promoter, but he has never claimed not to be a promoter to my knowledge so the situations are quite different... he doesn't have or need 'sham' promoters because he is a promoter. I suppose you'd say he has a number of cross promotional deals in place.

If Star Boxing was already Takam's promoter why does he need to pay another promoter? Exactly how many hands are supposed to get a cut of his earnings?

We're seeing this a fair bit currently, I think possibly because of network exclusivity deals in place - smaller promoters; Banner, Star, Main Events, DBE basically having to cross promote with TR, PBC or Hearn to get their guys on air/stream... and I agree, it ain't good for the fighters if they're having to pay twice (although I don't know if this is the case) but it might be marginally better than not getting them air time at all. Been a lot of changes and power plays in the boxing world these last few years and the smaller promotions are having to evolve new ways of surviving.

Myself I like the messy old ways with the smaller promoters swimming round the edges always on the lookout for that one star that could break 'em into the big time, but I think those times may be at an end in this Brave New boxing world of ours.
