... kid, dear, do your homework...

... on on September 13, 2014, LSC fought Manuel Roman (on the Mayweather-Maidana II undercard). He stopped Roman in round two to retain his world title. After the fight, Santa Cruz said, "I did my job. That's what I came for. I'm not scared of anyone. I want Rigondeaux and I want my manager [Al Haymon] to make the fight to show I am the best."

... but after saying that, LSC just fought Jesus Ruiz (33-5-5!!!) at 122 and immediately moved up at 126...

Still don’t get why he ran from a third fight. He doesn’t really cover himself in glory.

Even with this GRJ thing, he didn’t cover himself with glory at all. Hiding behind his team, I thought they are meant to work for the boxer, not the other way round.

Not that I agree with what GRJ did with the whole LSC father thing, but some people would be questioning his cojones now.

Lol. You’re proving my point. “Hence,” who’s advising? I can fetch videos where both Leo and Frampton say Rigo didn’t bring any money. Is that consistent with the Leo quotes you gave me? Or is this another I ain’t funna cross the street or take $100mil?

              Easy work mayne

126 has stalled. There was so much potential there for great fights, but they aren't happening. Always wanted to see Rigo vs. Russell Jr.

Story of his career is He's out for 6 months... so He needs a tune-up, then takes decent fight - but not THE FIGHT to take... then is 6 months off, so He needs a tune-up... and so on, and so on.

He's 31 years old.. nearly 8 years now on world level - and only 2 legimate fighters He fought was Mares, past his prime as well - and Frampton, who also was never considered elite.. Both of them twice.

Oh well, good luck to a guy, seems like a nice fella, made milions, bought Lamborghini from Mayweather, names his some Al Santa Haymon, life's good... just don't expect people to care about Your career.

He'll have announcement this week by the way. Another tune-up, I'm pretty sure.
Good post. Couldn't agree more .

Compare Resumes to see which fighter is down for taking on Challenges

Santa Cruz has actually fought the best at 126 , while Gary just talks about it and only Fights legit Opponets when it’s mandated and has one of the worst Championship Reigns in the sport

Not sure about GRJ, but DEFINITELY a punk for not honoring his word on giving mini Algieri a trilogy fight in Ireland, scratch that, just a trilogy fight period!
