To be fair, its very hard for him to stay relevant now that Anthony "Quitter" Johnson has "taken over America" as he promised.

Showtime paid a substantial license fee to air Wilder’s last fight – a spectacular first-round knockout of mandatory challenger Dominic Breazeale – live on that premium cable channel
Told y'all Showtime came close to matching DAZN's offer. And I thought Wilder had a 3 fight deal with Showtime? What happened? So much wrong information out there. Now FOX just paid a huge fee to get this PPV. Wilder already making that money he was offered from DAZN.

He bet on himself like he said he would and he's winning

Unless they were guaranteed in writing to get the Wilder-Fury PPV, why waste money to get this?

Wilder needs just 23 more Ortiz rematches to match that DAZN money. 1 down, 22 to go.

Substantial doesn't mean 20 million. It was probably substantial compared to his previous paydays.

He didn't bet on himself. He got brainwashed into thinking he did by Finkel & Haymon who didn't want Wilder help Hearn by fighting on his platform.

If you think he will have made 100 milion by the time he fights Fury for Breazeale, Ortiz II and Fury II that's on you.

It was a duck, plain and simple. No way around it.

This is the result of DAZN offering tons of money for fights that
normally cost 10x less to make.

Yeah not any star power at all without attaching his name to AJ's, you are right.

Man, Wilder turned down a guaranteed $100 million plus to be loyal and Showtime says he’s not worth their money?
