The WBO is attainable by anyone.

If Errol Spence fought Terrance Crawford, the WBO wouldn’t strip Spence if he won or prevent him from fighting for it.

They stripped Mayweather and you think they won't strip Spence?

Anyway, this wbo thing is part of the reason Spence wants to fight Crawford last. So that when he inveitably gets stripped, provided he beats Crawford, he'll have attained the undisputed status so it won't matter.

If he fights for it now, it's useless because he'll get stripped before he gets the other belt.

Why would a promotional outfit even make decisions like this and was there a poll taken amongst the PBC fighters who may of wanted to fight for WBO belts? From everything ive read no Boxers are pretending it doesnt exist, its just the guys in suits like con man Haymon who would never ever actually fight for any of these belts.

Are you in favour of more or less belts? PBC not recognizing the WBO wont make a big difference at the end of the day, because every major promoter and the media has to ghost the WBO to get rid of them.
Nevertheless, it is a step in the right direction. Less titles equals less confusion and less paper champions.
