PBC recognizes the big three (WBC, WBA and IBF) and ignores the WBO, IBO, Ring Magazine, etc.

When listing the WBC, WBA and IBF champions, PBC lists both the WBA super champion and the regular WBA world champion.

PBC ignores Ring champ? I had no idea. I just figured most places didn't really announce it due to only half the weight classes having Ring champs.

I should clarify this is for PBC on FOX/FS1/FOX PPV only. WBA/IBF/WBC and nothing else.

For PBC on Showtime broadcasts, the WBO is recognized.

Let's say at 147 or 154 a PBC guy gets the WBC, WBA, IBF belts hes going to start calling himself a undisputed boxing champions with 3 belts when at 135 Lomachenko, Lopez or Commey will have 4 belts???

I'm old enough to remember people who laughed at the WBO same as they did with the WBF and IBO now all of a sudden the IBO getting some attention because Hatton, GGG and AJ walking around with the belt calling them champions

Give it a couple of years and the IBO will be all of a sudden the 5th belt you need to become undisputed unless the big promoters and fans stop recognizing these paper belts
